The Show Jumper World

Today I had my first lesson in the year. After being on vacation for a week my riding was a little shaky, but my horse took good care of me and the lesson was actually extremely productive. We worked on a new small course which proved to be challenging but fun. I like working on a new course every week because it lets me see new things and work on different aspects of a big jumper course. Also different courses show me what my strengths and what my weaknesses are. My goals for this year are to move up, and really show a lot more! 

Like I said I started riding when I was 8 years old, since then I've been hooked. I love it and wouldn't want to be doing anything else. For the past three years I've been saying how I want to get into show jumping, so finally last March I switched from my childhood barn to a show barn to train under a new trainer who would allow me to do jumpers. In July I went to my first AA Show at HITS Horse Shows. I loved it! Since then I've been training harder, really improving and learning

As of today I've decided to bring my experiences of being in the show jumping world to other people. I'll start off by saying that I started riding at the age of 8 in Equitation and Hunters, and now 8 years later I started show jumping. In March 2014 to be exact. I love it and I can't wait to see what the future holds and share it with you guys! I am improving and leanring everyday and I am excited to show you my journey
