over the weekend i worked on a trio of retro aesthetic sweaters for animal crossing!  these are less fairykei & more mainstream, miami chic that was so popular in the late 80s.  all three are based on existing, authentic sweaters!  unfortunately unlike the GITANO geometric knit, i couldn’t find a brand for the other two.

i’m “polarisu,” also known as “lolixioa”  among others, formally of cafe-lain.

i’ve been called old fashioned and am still a big fan of showa era entertainment and culture from my youth.  most (if not all) of the images i post are scanned from postcards, magazines, etc. that i own in my personal collection.  i enjoy art as well, so please look forward to all sorts of fun things in the future.

recently i’ve discovered the world of animal crossing! ♥ a bit late, i know.  new horizons is so much fun- i love designing all sorts of cute clothing, which i plan to share here as well!  i love scandinavian & cute 80s pastels the most.  i’m still very much a beginner with pixel art and hope to improve.

it’s been a really long time since i’ve ran a blog or website so i feel like i’m starting for the first time all over again!

also, i think jack nyan is just the cutest! ♥
