People who still actively post, whether still on YouTube or on another platform, whether still posting Minecraft or some other content, are allowed!! As long as they were a part of the ‘old mcyt’ community, they’re welcome.

Suggest as many people as you’d like, just please don’t spam one person.

‘Old’ is subjective. I think the most recent I’m going to go is 2017-18, but I will be flexible on this so don’t take it as a hard line!! Just submit who you think is old and I’ll go from there. :]

Submissions will probably close in one week (Feb. 19th, it’s a Sunday), but they may close earlier or later depending on submission rates!

You can submit people for any reason, whether or not you think they’re actually ‘silly’. Feel free to explain your decisions as little or as much as you’d like.

“NPC”s of Old MCYT Series are also welcome!! Anybody who partook in the good ol’ days, whether or not their name was on the YouTube channel. 

Please don’t take this contest seriously! Campaign for your sillies, create content for your sillies, but please be kind to other people and their sillies!!

We'd like to remind everyone that there has been no evidence of any vote fixing worse than what we've allowed and even encouraged. The mod team all knew that off-site vistors were inevitable when we had the initial containment breach— as soon as we had CCs posting about things we knew we were going to get new people— and we've been circulating on reddit, twitter, twitch, and tiktok since the nomination phase. Hating on people because they heard about the poll on a different website does not actually increase the store of joy or justice in the world.
