Spafnir crawled backward a little, as if he had just witnessed a murder. The poor guy really didn’t know what he just did. In hindsight, it was good that he told him before it happened to the wrong bird, but the look on Spammy’s face…

He made the right call by not beating the crap out of Spammy.

Spafnir breathed more easily when released, flexing his wings and folding them up tight. They were spotless, but boy that was some greeting he just received. He clucked to himself before composing himself enough to address Spammy.

For what it was worth, he didn’t move away from him and let the other NEO nuzzle up against him. Maybe Spammy didn’t know. Or maybe Spammy just knew exactly what he wanted.

He smelled Spammy before he saw him, which did wonders for quelling the fright that would have emerged otherwise. 

Yet he still moved and unfurled his wings as if he was getting ready to launch into the air to escape him… only to get wrapped. Spafnir squirmed a bit, although there wasn’t much urgency or effort involved.

extreme size difference couples with one partner being too big to fit in a normal double bed and even then sinking into it and their partner slides next to them
