honestly, itβs so bittersweet on my end. likeβ¦ i had several gripes with horikoshiβs writing (mostly about how he treats his female characters) and at some points, i could tell that he was just TIRED β’οΈ so a small part of me was glad that he could finally get some rest
but i also cannot deny that despite those gripes and observations, bnha is still heavily enjoyable, and itβs something thatβs a part of my best memories. having the manga end is so strange, because iβm so used to itβ¦ not. like, iβve been into this anime-manga since 2020 βΌοΈ wdym itβs ending on august 5β¦
call me biased but i really love how he tied together the todoroki family plotline. like⦠no thoughts, no words⦠best thing he has ever written imo.

then thereβs midoriya izukuβ his childhood best friend, also aspiring tennis player. his journey with tennis was a little rocky on his end, but his eyes shined brighter. he has a heart of gold, but he wasnβt scared to admit when he needed help, which is why he enrolled in a tennis academy.
the two are polar oppositesβ in desires, in techniques, even in serving styles, yet their paths still intercepted. maybe their differences is why they worked so well in the end. heaven really knows how they manage to operate like a unit.
and then thereβs youβ who had nothing but talent in your veins, who was practically married to the game with added blood, sweat, and hard passion. youβ who just wanted to see some good fucking tennis.
you were the negatives of the two, you had nothing in common with them. but from the way you dominated the court, and forged some mutual, unspoken understanding with your opponent, there was something the both of them could agree on.
