For one thing, you can see that a large segment of shippers really do have some sort of untreated mental illness. The delusion is real. No matter what sort of evidence you show them, it might even be Jiyong with his wee-wee inside another person, they’ll still say it’s fake or staged and that he’s dating the other person in their ship.

Then there’s the aggressive ones that are so emotionally invested in their delusions that they’re taking to the instagrams of celebrities and private citizens to tell them off and harass them for the imaginary offence into their imaginary relationship they’ve invested their time.

None of these people realize that they’re trying to play with and manipulate the lives of real people; Jiyong is not a character in your favorite show, Taehee is not a secondary character in your sitcom, you’re not playing Sims. Even if your delusional ship was real, you still have zero right to meddle in it or give your opinion to the parties involved.
