Was looking at the animated wiki and noticed that grif and simmons guns are different. Im not a gun person so I ended up looking up the different between the two rifles and

Grif has a battle rifle so he can be far away from the fight (lazy) and simmons has an assault rifle so he can get in and deal with with the issue quickly (kissass)

She died in her real life, and that's all the Director ever remembered of her. So now, no matter how tough she is, no matter how hard she fights, she's always going to fail, because that's what she's based on. But, I think another fun aspect of thier dynamic is the Tucker that Wash sees and recognises. Tucker is so incredibly human to everyone around him, like the other sim troopers, hes funny, and generally a little non threatening, at least compared to the freelancers and mercs you may be accustomed to. And Wash sees that guy aswell don't get me wrong, he learns to be human again with that guy, they hangout a lot, but he also sees the Tucker: The Great Force to Be Reckoned With, wielder of a glowing fucking sword you do not want to be on the business end of, (funny personality aside)

Idk, its just another thing about them I love, like as much as we do a lot of explorartion of hands accustomed to murder and violence learning to be gentle and to love again about Wash, but if you think further, Tucker's onscreen kill count is the highest of the whole show. And in universe, Wash is the only, or at least the first to notice that potential.
