2017 was a wildly diverse year, featuring strong women in pop like St. Vincent and Lorde; career reinventions for Harry Styles and comeback queen Kesha; and zeitgeist-capturing hip-hop opuses from Jay-Z and our No. 1 artist, Kendrick Lamar.
