Every time someone is weird about the Angel Incarnateās tits I want to grab them and say cis men with large pecs exist. Cis men with gynecomastia exist. Intersex men exist. Trans men exist. A man having breasts is not weird or gross.
Are they even your otp if you haven't imagined all the ways they could have a horrible, messy divorce that ruins several lives in the process?
PETRUCCIO/LORENZO, CHERRIES
[AN: IāM SORRY, I COULDNāT MAKE THIS SEXY OR SLASHY. It will probably bore people because of it. But I will always leap at the chance to write the Auditore family.]
All in all, this party was a huge success. Lorenzo sat at the head table, watching the revelry with a small smile; many guests were drunk, but not enough to be considered obscenely so. Giuliano sat on his right, his chin propped up in his hand as he considered the guests (or more specifically, if Lorenzo knew his brother, the young women.) The Auditore were seated at his left, watching⦠Well, three of them were.Lorenzo could tell that Maria and Giovanni wanted to get up and dance together. But the three eldest children had taken off, leaving no one to watch young Petruccio should his parents leave the table. Lorenzo scanned the hall; he could see Claudia nearby, speaking with her latest crush. Federico was at the back of the hall, dancing with a nameless woman, and Ezio had vanished completely. It did not take long for Lorenzo to figure out that Federico was dancing with Cristina Vespucciās chaperone. He leaned over to murmur in Giovanniās ear. āIāll watch Petruccio. Go on.āGiovanni looked faintly surprised. āAh, Lorenzo, I wouldnāt-ā Lorenzo raised an eyebrow. āDo you think he will give me trouble, Giovanni?ā he asked, cutting the older man off. Giovanni blinked, and then a smile spread across his handsome face.āOf course not. Thank you, my friend.ā He leaned over to whisper in his wifeās ear, and Mariaās answering smile could have lit the room on its own. She mouthed her thanks to Lorenzo and murmured something to Petruccio, who nodded obediently in reply. Giovanni stood, offered his arm to his wife, and together they took to the dance floor and were soon lost among the crowd. Petruccio watched them go nervously.Lorenzo felt a little sorry for him. He had much more colour in his face than the last time the Duke had seen him, but because he was chronically ill he had little chance to interact with anyone outside his family. He was clearly overwhelmed by the festivities. Lorenzo pulled Giovanniās chair out from under the table and patted it.āCome and sit here, Petruccio.ā Petruccio obeyed, a nervous smile on his face. Giuliano peered curiously around Lorenzo at the boy, before shoving a silver bowl filled with red ripe cherries at Lorenzo.āKeep him entertained with that,ā he muttered cannily. āChildren love food.āāThat would explain your love of it.ā Lorenzo shook his head exasperatedly at his younger brother - he was as subtle as a thunderstorm sometimes - and turned his attention back to Petruccio. āAre you enjoying the party, Petruccio?āPetruccio smiled at him. āYes, Sir,ā he answered dutifully, before turning and searching the dance floor for his parents again. Lorenzo sighed; he was still nervous, and if he didnāt calm down he could stress himself into being sick. Begrudgingly, he decided to try Giulianoās idea.āHave you ever tried cherries?ā he asked, pulling the bowl to sit on the table between them. Petruccio shook his head. āTheyāre very good. Try one! Careful not to choke on the seed.āHesitantly, Petruccio plucked one from the plate and popped it into his mouth. He spat the seed into his palm, reached over the table to retrieve his own plate, and discarded it on there. After a moment he smiled at Lorenzo, already looking a little more relaxed. āI like them. May I have another?āLorenzo ignored Giulianoās smug jab to his ribs. āOf course. Donāt eat too many or you will upset your stomach.āHe nearly laughed when Petruccio grinned happily. The boy really did resemble his parents.Maria and Giovanni returned after only a few songs, Maria fanning herself and panting a little, a smile lighting up her beautiful face. Giovanni, who was probably fitter than most of the people present, was not out of breath, but he looked just as happy. Upon seeing Petruccio and his small pile of cherry pips, he stopped dead.āHow did you get him to eat those?ā he asked Lorenzo. At Lorenzoās bewildered look, he asked Petruccio with fond exasperation, āYou wouldnāt touch them when I tried to feed them to you, and all Lorenzo has to do is put the bowl in front of you?āāHe offered me some.ā Petruccioās look was stern as he gazed up at his father. āAnd you always tell me to never refuse the Duke, Papa.āāWell, yes, butā¦ā Giovanniās smile was sheepish. āLorenzo, for Godās sake, tell him to eat his vegetables.āāPlease donāt, Sir!ā Petruccioās expression was panicked.Giuliano quickly ducked away from the table to burst into laughter. Lorenzo didnāt bother to do Giovanni that courtesy, laughing as he patted Petruccio reassuringly on the shoulder and enjoying Giovanniās awkward smile.

forever lorenzo/gio
[AN: oh my god, Anon, this is such a cruel prompt. This isnāt that great, but Iām happy with it.]
Sometimes, Lorenzo was painfully reminded of his own naivetĆ©. He knew the Medici had enemies, and he was not so deluded that he thought he was beyond their reach, their plans. He had been involved in political intrigue from a young age, had seen death, ordered murder, and even had a few close calls himself. He knew very well that he was mortal.Never did it cross his mind that Giovanni might be, as well. And why would it? From the moment Giovanni had pulled him from the Arno, Lorenzo had hero-worshipped him. Every time he had seen Giovanni fight, the man had displayed almost inhuman strength and speed. He had been fearless, undertaking each mission with a solemn determination and mercilessness, a complete contrast to the way he met Lorenzo in private, with gentle hands, soft lips and a tender smile.Of all the things to kill him, it had been the hangmanās noose of Lorenzoās own city.At first, Lorenzo had loathed Uberto Alberti for his betrayal; no, loathe was not a strong enough word. Upon seeing Uberto, hatred would bubble up inside Lorenzo until it awoke a hideous bloodlust, forcing him to remove himself from Ubertoās presence lest he do something he would later regret.Once Uberto was murdered, Lorenzoās hatred for him subsided slowly, only to be turned tenfold on himself. Giovanni had voiced his concerns to Lorenzo; why hadnāt he taken them seriously? If he hadnāt left the city⦠If he hadnāt gone to the villaā¦In public, he kept his cool. In private, he unleashed his fury. He broke anything he could get his hands on, by accident or on purpose. Everything from pencils and quills to priceless oriental vases suffered his wrath, until he finally ordered that all such artefacts be moved from his office and bedroom. His poetry - and fuck, he had loved writing it once, hadnāt he? - was discarded and torn apart, and he could write very few words beyond my fault, why, and his Assassinās name. It took a long time for the anger to drain away, leaving a dull ache behind. An Assassin, he told himself sternly. Giovanni was an Assassin, his job was always perilous. Except that he hadnāt been killed on a mission, he had been condemned as a traitor by the very city he strove to protect. Oh, but Lorenzo wished he hadnāt left Florence that day. With his Assassin torn away from him, he was left to protect an entire city, alone. Alone. Lorenzo finally cried. It wasnāt until he talked with Ezio that Lorenzo felt at peace with Giovanniās death. There was something, a strange, niggling feeling at Lorenzoās heart as he told Ezio of how he and Giovanni had met. It was familiar, and he tried to place it, but it wasnāt until heād handed over a Codex page to Ezio that the revelation blindsided him.Giovanni was there. Ever vigilant, he was watching, with one eye on Lorenzo and the other on his family, just as it always had been. It wasnāt until he was with Ezio that Lorenzo felt the full brunt of his gaze. His eyes itched with bittersweet tears, but instead he smiled coolly at Ezio as he bade him farewell. As he watched Ezio go, he asked Giovanni to turn his full gaze to the young Assassin; Ezio needed the guidance more than he. In the meantime, he promised that he would live, finally live, for the both of them. And when he finally met Giovanni again, he promised to tell him all about it.
Tumblr users will say āMichelangelo didnāt know how to paint women and all his women look gross and like dudes lolā and proceed to post the most beautiful woman youāve ever seen
"Michelangelo only drew women that looked like men" Like that's a bad thing, everyone should be drawing more women that look like men. Michelangelo should really be a point of reference for drawing women.
Though sharks do not naturally have eight penises (with the power of Science they can!), they do naturally have two penises, which means Octopus-J could have given Shark Sam two handjobs each with four tentacles, had he not had eight dicks.

Oh to be a shark with eight dicks cheating on my shark wife with a dolphin and an octopus in a documentary narrated by David Attenborough. All strictly for science!
Mario: Congratulations. The two of you have just won gold and silver in the Moron Olympics.
Claudia:
Ezio:
Claudia: Who won gold?
Reblog and put in the tags a fictional character you're surprised doesn't have a lot of Rule 34.
Look there's nothing that says any of the Assassin's Creed characters have to be cis but I think there should be a list of those that definitely aren't.Ā
Characters that are trans, congruent to canon gender:
-Ezio: He just is trans to me. There's no other way to explain it.Ā How did he have kids at an advanced age if he should be post-menopausal? With the combination of Isu genetics and the sheer power of Ezio Auditore I think he could pull off two geriatric pregnancies.
-Kassandra: Like Ezio, she just is.Ā
-Desmond: Part of the reason he ran away. Start fresh, leave the cult you were raised in, change your gender.Ā
-Lucy: She's done some bad things for that Abstergo supplied estrogen. It's okay though, I forgive her.Ā
-Evie and Jacob: Counting them as one because they swapped both names and genders.Ā
Characters that are trans in a different way from their canon genderĀ
-Maria Thorpe: Something tells me she might have liked pretending to be Robert de Sable a little too much. And she was a tomboy growing up so thereās signs.
-Mary Read: Come on. Mary does not have a shred of binary, you don't spend that long being disguised. You can't commit to the bit that much before it becomes a part of you. Anyways Mary is genderfluid.Ā You agree.
-Eivor: Being genderfluid is the easiest reconciliation of male/female Eivor. Also they're the reincarnation of Loki, the genderfuckiest god in the Norse pantheon.Ā Edit: Eivor is Odinās reincarnation, not Lokiās. Oops. My point still stands though and I do think Eivor is genderfluid.
-Giovanni Auditore: This one is really hard to explain without going on a whole rant but just know that he is nonbinary. To me okay. To me.Ā
The only exception I can think of is Haytham, who is very much a cis man and I fathom him as otherwise.Ā
And that's all for now I'll add more when I think of some later.Ā
The rant about nonbinary Giovanni has been made: https://www.tumblr.com/shoggothspawn/824446194045632512/ive-thought-about-giovannis-relationship-with

Iāve thought about Giovanniās relationship with gender quite a lot. He was a man living in Renaissance Italy so there was obviously the pressure to uphold the strict gender roles at the time, but my idea is that being the second son he would be in constant comparison to Mario, heir and the spare dynamics and all that, but also in the way of growing up Mario was the much stronger, masculine brother as opposed to the more emotional, bookish Giovanni. Mario had a much easier time conforming to the ideal of masculinity being the future Lord of Monteriggioni.Ā
Giovanni always felt like he lived in Marioās shadow, not the oldest, strongest, brashest son. So he found other ways. If he could not be the strong one he would be intelligent. If he could not be emotionless then he would be sentimental. If he could not prove his manhood through how imposing he was he would overcompensate by sleeping around and fighting for fun. Ā
It didnāt work. Not necessarily. He blended in as anyone had to but he would never be the ideal son and heir like Mario. So he grew up with a quiet disconnect from manhood. He neither quite enjoyed it or outright hated it. His gender was just another role he had to perform such as being a banker or assassin. A matter of convenience.Ā
Giovanni at one point tried on a dress as a teenager, perhaps as a dare or after losing an ill-advised bet, then was a little too reluctant to take it off. When he was younger his hair was much longer, down to his waist but he had to cut it when his life got too laden with responsibility and he realized he couldnāt take care of it anymore. He still misses it.Ā
I can imagine how these feelings would have been exacerbated when he realized he was indeed bisexual. Another demotion against him. A sexual pervert with unnatural desires.Ā
Giovanni canāt deal with any complicated emotions though. He has more important things to worry about like providing for and protecting his family. Things that cannot allow any shred of deviancy. For that would be weak. And men cannot be weak.Ā
I donāt think he would ever truly process his feelings about his gender. Not in the canon timeline at least. But if he had modern labels he would be peak āIām probably nonbinary but I have a job so I canāt worry about that right now.āĀ
This makes me think about trans Ezio. Ezio seems like he was the type growing up to idolize his father. After all, he was noted to look exactly like Giovanni, and act just like him, and Ezio was the one to be taught banking, Ezioās the one with the eagle vision. And I like the idea of Ezio being a little clone of his dad.Ā
But that complicates things if Ezio is born female. He would be the perfect son and heir if not for him being born second and a girl. Ezio grows up to be a pretty gender non conforming kid. Fighting, hunting, banking, flirting with his brother rather than learning needlepoint with his sister.Ā
Giovanni gets many comments that heās being too indulgent to his daughter. That Ezio is too mannish and will grow up to be a whore or an unmarriageable spinster.Ā
Giovanni canāt help but empathize with Ezio though. Maybe Ezio will never marry or bring shame to the family but he would rather have his child be unburdened with responsibility for as long as he can. Heās waited wanted to raise children, not assassins.Ā
Meanwhile Ezio is having a heart attack trying to figure out how to come out to his dad. Heās told Federico by now, his closest confidant. Like Giovanni, inadequate for manhood not just by timing of birth but also by the sin of his genitals. Always in comparison to Federico. Only now it matters less what is inside and more the externalities.Ā
Ezio sees Giovanni and he knows who he wants to mold himself to be. He has the paragon of manhood in his eyes as a father.Ā Yet another reason to be a failure.Ā But Ezio is courageous first and foremost. And he will face the unknown of his fatherās reaction.Ā
He canāt leave any room for doubt. So he goes to Giovanni with his hair choppily cut short, wearing ill fitting clothes Federico lent him and very firmly declares that he is not a daughter but a son.Ā
In that moment Giovanni remembers. Remembers being a failure of manhood in the way Mario could only conform too well to. He remembers being gentle, being soft, being bookish. And he understands.Ā
He lets Ezio be a boy. Perhaps this is right. Perhaps sometimes there were girls who were just better off being boys. Ezio certainly had the soul of one.Ā
And perhaps if Giovanni can allow Ezio to be male in all ways maybe he can allow himself things. Giovanni could let his hair grow out, maybe the occasional indulgence of a dress. Because if Ezio can be male without the external qualities then what should manhood mean to him? If manhood can be defined on qualities then what is Giovanni? Maybe he is simply comfortable.Ā
