this week has been supremely exhausting. we’ve gotten basically nothing from ss, there’s been negative media both on the boys and on us, the boys have gone nearly silent, and we don’t know where wonho is. i know this is upsetting. i know this is alarming. i know this is hurtful.
but we cannot boycott starship.
i know it seems like a very direct course of action but this might actually hurt our efforts far more than help them. the simplest way to reason on it is that wonho needs a group to come back to. if we allow mx to fall, then it’s over. it’s done. there’s nothing for wonho to come home to.
changkyun told us to keep fighting. he sees us, he supports us. but we need to support him too. changkyun doesn’t hide his emotions from us. he’s in pain, and you can see it plain on his face. we have to protect him in this fight.
jooheon is trying so hard to be strong. even when it makes the most since to break down, even though we know he’s very soft at heart, he’s trying to be strong. for his brothers, and for us. we have to protect him in this fight.
hyungwon has been trying to lighten the mood this entire time. during the comeback vlive, talking to mbbs from the van, waving as they left the stage yesterday. but we still saw him shaking as he performed. we have to protect him in this fight.
kihyun is unbelievably resilient. he’s supporting his group incredibly well, and he’s still extending all of the kindness he can to mbbs. but he’s known wonho for such a long time. i can’t imagine the pain he’s in. you can see the anger on his face, in his eyes, in his dance. we have to protect him in this fight.
minhyuk is trying so hard. in his letter on fancafe he hinted at all of the negative emotions that he’s been feeling. he’s been tearing up on stage. he faced harassment. he had to go mc the day after all of this went down. and yet, he’s still trying to smile for us. he’s still trying to be happy for us. we have to protect him in this fight.
hyunwoo. hyunwoo, who’s had his life exposed to us. hyunwoo, who was a victim in a situation and acted with all of the grace and practicality that we’ve come to know him for. hyunwoo, who’s been subjected to unspeakable things, and was torn up for it. hyunwoo, leader of monsta x, who on a good day takes everything upon himself just to ease the burden of his brothers.
who barely celebrated on follow’s first win. who’s still working and leading, despite everything that happened to him. who looks exhausted and ill and who is so strong for everyone around him. we have to protect him in this fight.
