to the people who commented on my post saying not to generalize the situation or that mentally ill people do go through bad relationships and obsessions: i’m very much aware of that. yes, we do go through bad relationships and have unhealthy obsessions because of our mental illnesses. i never said that they didn’t. but in this case, i don’t think that’s what’s going on. i genuinely think that even is falling in love with isak, and that his feelings are real and valid, and that’s why i said what i did. i was just reminding the people who are agreeing with sonja and are saying awful things about even’s character, that mentally ill people can have happy and healthy relationships and have successful lives.
