Often times Oda falls into the “beauty is good, ugly us evil” pit. The worst is for female characters in the manga tho (tbh we can debate doffy till we all die at this point but that crucifix scene was meant for you to sympathize blahhh blahh he’s evil but attractive blah etc.)

Now female characters… we have big mom, that one that joined black beard…. and yep thats about it really. Guess what they’re ugly. Guess what pudding isnt, thats right, ugly. Oda doesny draw purely evil attractive women. The most i think we’ve gotten is Monet and even then there was some breif background nonsense about how her and her sister were unfortunate before being taken in by doflamingo.

Actually--Mettaton just replied with alvida as a choice and no, shes exactly the point im proving. She’s evil af when shes considered ugly and then she gets “hot” and joins the comic relief pirate crew and fades off into obscurity.

I read a lot of different theories that either she is helpful or she lured them in a trap. TBH I don’t know enough about her to pass judgment and say what I really think. Her design is cute I suppose, kinda stereotypical tiny waist and big boobs, her third eye tho is interesting as fuck.

Do I ship her an Sanji, nope.

Overall indifferent until she does some more things.

I personally don’t believe in hyping up female characters in One Piece just for the sake of being female, Oda usually disappoints us with female characters.

I’m 100% more excited for Big Mom tho.
