Always lie on your resume, if you nail the interview it's just a matter of walking and talking the part. But word of advice maybe don't say your bilingual because I've been struggling very hard to keep up but I'm speaking Spanish everyday and it's getting easier. Immersion truly is the only way to become fluent

Somehow ‘almost’ hurts the most. Almost fell in love, almost made it, almost had it. Like it’s within your reach but not quiet. When you meet someone you like and enjoy and make the dumb mistake of fucking them for the next 6 weeks and it turns out they’re ok with not texting you for 5 days straight. I’m so dumb lmao but I’m sober day 3 so there’s that. Update

8 days sober, this is the 5th time? ‘doesnt matter how many times you fail, just keep getting back up. Anyone struggling with active addiction i see you, I’m right there with you. We deserve to be sober, we deserve good things. And one day we’ll look back and be glad we left it alone.

You know you’re in the big leagues when you’re collaborating with sports teams. As someone who’s completely indifferent to sports it’s wild how my career has taken this pivot. I haven’t drawn in two weeks and tbh i needed that break. I’ve been watching fashion docs like my favorite anti fashion doc about the 90s and the Antwerp 6. Even if i wasnt an artist I’d be one of those annoying aesthetic people. I’m still good at finding underground artists you never heard of. I saw an interview with Amy Davis, the chick from mod fuck explosion, and i want to be here when i grow up

Just when you think no one cares you get a million birthday wishes. One of my favorite Tattooers/artists in LA sang me a birthday song for a minute on Instagram messages lmaoooo omg i feel so …. Strange, not even old just like wow life really just goes and on and on and on. I took a walk in the forest behind my neighbors house and it was a beautiful walk. I really needed that. I’m going to have a picnic and maybe just take a chair out there and just draw in the middle of the woodsy area in front of this creek. I really feel like I’m in a different part of my life, like this is my 30s for sure. Also have a gorgeous dinner with my family this weekend which is strange too because i never thought I’d be looking forward to that. It’s just a strange good time lately. Oh and i did art for born x raised and the LA dodgers, of coarse still in the game, still getting projects, still drawing for a living.

So many impossible things have happened that i can't help but believe more things are to come. It's the waiting that kills me cuz my anxiety is bad.

The small things really do matter. Send that text, ask how your friends day was or even a stranger fuck it. We all need a little boost, a little pat on the back. Not everything has to be about money, smile at someone. Leave some quarters at the car wash for the next person, or the pool table. Spread love and love will find you. Or you know, it just feels good to do small acts of kindness in this crazy ass world

Nervous about my on camera/video interview with the Texas rangers. "We want to tell your story and your inspiration for the tote design" ugh i mean wooo. And they want to me to be there at the launch of the bags. Also I'll literally be moving out the next day to my new spot.
