The Virtues, they corrupted very early on already because they failed at their purpose very early on-

Each virtue failed- specifically they failed to aid cookies in said virtue

Mystic flour, meant to be the virtue of volition took the cookies volition by giving them an easy path, simply get ur wish forfilled instead of learning to reach goals at your own hand. And when they no longer got that they became restless and easily pushed into crossing lines they shouldn't have.

Than burning spice, herald of change, i find the word herald interesting because a herald simply announces change- truly he really wasn't really pushing for change he allowed they to repeat constantly because he's forgot to push the cookies running the kingdoms to change too, he led changes through words, he forgot to lead through action.

Shadow milk, the fount of knowledge again a interesting title, he was the fount, the source, he gave cookies the answers to everything and cookies forgot how to seek those answers for themselves and so when answers came that they didn't like they had a perfect cookie to blame instead of accepting the truth.

than of course eternal sugar, bringer of happiness, again bringer, she gave them happiness yet never taught them truly how to seek it for themselves, she forgot that everyone's happiness is different and there is no way to make everyone happy if they aren't willing to work for said happiness

Than lastly silent salt, the kind commander of solidarity.. he was a leader and fought for those who needed help, but he forgot to involve those cookies further, the cookies they wished to stand in solidarity with had not been pushed to do the same in return and so a scapegoat for all struggles was created as they took the help for granted as they forgot that they too should be part of this fight for their freedom.

Tho silent salt i think failed in another way, similar to all the other beasts, they all forgot about each other. Solidarity stood only with the weak but forgot that sometimes the strong need a hand just as much. Of course as said the other beasts did too.

THE VIRTUES WERE ALL DESTINED TO FALL BECAUSE THEY’RE SO TIED TOGETHER THAT IT WOULD’VE CREATED A DOMINO EFFECT

SALT WAS THE VIRTUE WHO LASTED THE LONGEST BECAUSE HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO HAD A REAL CONNECTION TO THE PEOPLE HE SERVED WHILE THE OTHERS WERE TRAPPED IN BEING LIVING TOOLS WHO ALL EVENTUALLY BECAME OBSOLETE

ALL THE VIRTUES CRASH OUTS ARE CAUSED BY THEIR GOD GIVEN FUNCTIONS BECOMING OBSOLETE/HATED BY THE PEOPLE THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO SERVE AND THE REASON THE ANCIENTS DIDN’T DO THE SAME IS BECAUSE THEY WERE ALLOWED TO HAVE NORMAL LIVES BEFORE BECOMING IMMORTAL

They would kiss, look at each other and start laughing because they are very happy, thinking of what they just did, but at the same time they are very flustered and nervous about it.

They are very happy in the situation they are right now, they just don't know how to deal with so many feelings at the same time!

Thinking way back to the telenovela era, thinking back to the book. Bad has loved Forever for a long time. Remembering how everyone questioned his intentions with that book and that he shouldnt just play with Forevers feelings when he couldnt have been more clear about his own feelings. But he waited.

And then there was the day at dappers bar right after Forever went on Max talk show. How Forever clearly stated he wasnt interested in any romantic relationships anymore after Philza and that he was still hung up on him. And that was fine. Bad would always respect that. He could wait until Forever was ready. He had all the time in the world as an immortal after all. So he kept waiting for Forever be ready, to make the first move.

just a polite discussion outside a prison cell- no hostage situation here!

There was a lot of anger today. At Forever and the universe and at himself.

The first time he went to build the shrine his memory issues were back full force and what could be more denial than loosing your memories.
