High on this globe of earth,

The rain,

God’s tattoo on your face,

Talisman reflected surface.

Maybe finding courage is easy,

Keeping it is the difficulty. 

‘If you are offered a rose garden relationship,

remember the feline thorns.’

Parrot of the park,

Flash of blue against the bark –

Peach charisma.

Keep to the Bright Side of Life

When things are bad,

Don’t give up the fight –

Even dusk darkened paths,

Attracts scattered light.

Disguised

Vanilla wind,

From ice cream clouds,

Sweet scent of decay.

Even in the stripped,

Embrace of branches,

It is not okay. 

You are silent,

In winters blue,

This tells me everything.

And I fully believe you.

Undeclared Affection

Love so close,

The thing that hurts the most -

Is almost.
