Hannah is a Tedbecca lover too so whatever comes she will honour us, "lovers of hope and positivity" as she put it. She injected so much of that in the soft way she always adored him as Rebecca, even when the character itself was trying so hard to find him wanting at the beginning to justify her vendetta. She conveyed small things that speak of her own belief as an actor that this is where they should have rightfully ended. Such tenderness towards him. Always.

Now that it's all out the open that both she and Nick Mohammed are tedbecca fans, the showrunners can't exactly move forward pretending there was never that particular shipping ground to walk on. Or that we were absolute fools to think so. Not when two actors of the show saw the same thing that we did.

I do take heart in the fact that she clearly did not see boat guy as the end all be all of Rebecca's story.

If anything, I think she saw it as a blissful phase. Some place to rest for a while and bask in some well deserved sexy and loving time. I take great comfort in that.

She said in another interview how much it's even become a bit of a problem how much ownership she now has over Rebecca. I can only imagine how much she wants to do her justice. We can hope she now has a say in how to bring Rebecca to the place of absolute felicity that she deserves. It is no secret that to her, Rebecca's happiness lies with Ted. Cause she said she did not want to come back unless Ted was there. Ted and Rebecca come as a package deal. And there are ways that this can happen, even if not as a couple. A way for them to finally become a unit and be what the other has been craving forevermore.

I never stopped shipping Ted/Rebecca.

I never stopped loving them.

I never stopped reading my smutty fanfiction, my fix-it fics and PWPs and episode tags.

I’m still so emotional over this show and this pairing and there’s so much potential in the on screen. In the chemistry.

But I haven’t watched a full episode of the show since it ended because I’ve been so heartbroken over it.

Now that we know it’s coming back…

I’m still not there to watch old episodes. But I’m back on my delusional bullshit. I’m back on desperately hoping they do something with what they created, the things they wrote and directed.

I’m also terrified of the heartbreak that I feel is inevitable.
