Like many of you, we monitored the rapid changes to the ‘X/Twitter platform while we researched other social media options to plan accordingly. We had hoped ‘X’/Twitter might be able to reverse its course. With recent news, that no longer appears to be possible.

In its current state, the ‘X’ platform does not align with our values. The most recent decision by the current ownership has made it clear through their own actions and words that they are comfortable providing a space for individuals to post hateful, discriminatory, and criminal content.

We are not deactivating the ‘flightrising’ account on this particular platform at this time. This is to prevent the ‘flightrising’ handle from being claimed by malicious third-parties and used to scam or prey on our community and fans. Avoiding that to the best of our ability is paramount to us and our commitment to you.

When we have more information for you on the future of this account and our presence on other platforms, we will broadcast those plans here, on our website, and our current social media spaces. In the meantime, you can find us online on Tumblr, Facebook, YouTube, DeviantArt, and as always, flightrising.com.
