I needed to draw some angsty vulnerable Fjord after last episode. I loved loved loved it! Travis was doing amazing! Am I turning into a Critical Role blog now? With Travis pulling stuff like that, fjuck if I know..  Fjord ‘I’m a liability now’ Tough is pulling my emotional heartstrings into a big ‘o knot of feelings and I’m here for it. 

Oh man, I haven’t posted on here in forever. I recently got caught up on Critical Role and I really enjoy this nerdy group of people and the story they’re weaving together. It’s just. so GOOD. Here’s my take on Cadeuces Clay, funkiest cowman and bestest mom-friend of the Mighty Nein. I just love Cadeuces’ design and how Taliesin plays him. There are some sketches laying around of the other characters as well, but I’m not sure if I will get ‘round to those.

I had a rough attitude and pose in mind, based on a few stats and how I felt like playing her. She’s a pretty confident lil’ lady, high on charisma and generally nice (Chaotic Good). I mostly went through iterations of weight-placement - with a +0 Strength and +1 Dexterity, I went with stringy and lean over bulky. She’s supposed to be around 3ft tall, which is especially funny considering the other party members being Elves and a Half-Orc.

The goal for me is to turn this into some kind of mock-up visual development piece, which has already proven to be a great exercise already - gettin’ all those creative muscles firing away!

This was supposed to be a quick contribution to the Mermay Challenge, but ended spending a good day on it. I did enjoy it ,though!

one2keep offers online accountancy services for business owners and asked me to design their virtual accountant ‘Donna’. I had a lot of fun with this one!

Been working on this bigger thing in between stuff since the beginning of summer, I’m really pleased how it turned out! (I’m also slowly filling my Society6 page, take a look!)

I miss having chicken like these! They’re really sweet and sociable and easy to keep. I might make a little series with different kinds of chicks/birds, what do you think? Any specific kinds?
