Into Darkness

Then a puppet in the spotlight

Because I don't have a death wish.

I want to live.

I just want the rest of the world to die.

For I have died

But do not mourn

For the dead shall rise

Their whispers of the afterlife are lies

The darkness had told me long ago

For when you die you open your eyes

To a new life waiting before you

But the wolf hiding within the woman

A man was given the power to wish for anything and he would receive it. The only condition being that whatever he wished for came from somewhere else. For example, if he wished for a bike, one in a store would vanish.

One day he wished for a million dollars but got caught. They locked him up and took away his freedom.

So I ask you, why didn't the man just wish himself free?
