September 25. Iâm at peace. My heart doesnât ache for you. It nothings you. And I couldnât be more relieved.
To think I had you on such a high pedestal. Itâs over. Iâm free. Good luck to you.

Itâs June 28th... missing you but today is a better day.
This was always going to end in marriage or heartbreak.
Now facing the latter.
My first instinct was to call you.
But we donât talk anymore.
Because I felt like you did not deserve access to me.
Which I still believe.
But I wish I never admitted it.
I wish I never told you I loved you.
I would still have you eyes in my life.
I made you say goodbye to me not fully knowing what it meant.
I no longer have access to you either.
Getting over you will be my greatest feat.
Though I still wait the day when you choose me.
You told me to wait and I thought I deserved you then and there.
I should have been selfish with you.
To me it was love.
To you, I was someone to lust.
At this point. That would be enough.
I was too hurt to see that some of you was better than none at all.
At least I would still have you in my life.
Your eyes.
Your smile.
Still mine... sometimes.
I should just text you.
Put my pride aside.
Tell you I made a mistake.
Your only 30 minutes away.
Tell you I do want to see you.
Hold you.
Kiss you.
But the feeling that I donât get to wake up next to you is overwhelming.
I want all of you.
Not just in the night.
I deserve that.
Iâm sure someone will eventually give me that.
But I want it from you.
My love for you fell on deaf ears.
My heart aches.
I want you.
But only if itâs all of you.
This will be hard to get over.
I didnât want us to be over.
I wanted you to choose me.
Going through the motions.
Some hours of the days are easier than others but there are 24hrs in a day.

Delete your ex's nudes.
Delete anyone's nudes that doesn't fuck with you anymore.
Its creepy as hell to keep nude/lewd photos of someone who has CUT OFF that kind of connection to you.
Delete them.
Be a fucking adult.
people who still keep nudes from people they no longer fuck with are hella weird and disgusting if u ask me đ¤˘
And abusive

AAVE: STOP APPROPRIATING IT
What you as a non-black person shouldnât be saying (this includes non-black poc):
killin it
-game too strong (i.e. eyebrow game too strong, etc.)
-ass (i.e. Thatâs some ignorant-ass shit.)
hella
turnt/turnt up/turn up/turn down for what
shade/throwinâ shade
ratchet (donât be a smartass, the adjective not the object)
werk
yas
habitual âbeâ (i.e. they be killin it, he be walkin, bitches be like, etc.)
the thirst/thirsty
anything being ârealâ (i.e. the struggle is real, the thirst is real, etc.)
the struggle
on point (i.e. outfit is on point)
chill (as in got no chill)
side-eye
stank face
cray cray
-had me like
trippinâ
boo/bae
imma be
do/dough/dat
gurl/boi
basic (as in basic bitch)
holla
finna (i.e. Iâm finna do xyz)
tho/doe
reading/read
school/schooling
dope
fo sho/fo real
yâall
dig/dig it/ya dig/you dig
respect (i.e. respect man)
about that/here for that (i.e. Iâm not about that life, Iâm here for this)
tight (i.e. this shit got me tight)
giving life (i.e. Beyonce gives me life, black tumblr giving me life)
swag
goinâ through it
Things to avoid in general because they are offensive and/or mock black culture:
Sassy (NO YOU DO NOT HAVE A SASSY BLACK WOMAN LIVING INSIDE OF YOU. STOP. LOOKIN AT YOU WHITE GAY COMMUNITY).
Do not call black hair kinky or nappy. (Donât touch it either).
Do not call things ghetto. Just donât.
Donât use the word thug in relation to black men.
Do not assume black people are ignorant just because they donât speak the same dialect of English as you do.
Donât make fun of black names.
If you use the n-word, I have no sympathy for you. Good fucking luck.
If youâre non-Black, you should reblog this.
And if youâre non-Black and this bothers you? Unfollow me right now.
manâŚlets talk abt this shit rq
using AAVE is not the problem. Iâm not bout to get mad at some hispanic kid from nyc for sayin deadass. Iâm not gonna get mad at some white girl for using âbae.â
The problem isnât people using AAVE full stop, its people using it incorrectly, getting clout for using AAVE, and/or turning around and saying black folks who use AAVE sound uneducated. THATS the problem. The problem isnât that Bethany is saying âfinna.â (tho that do be sounding wack asl coming outta yalls mouths so maybe Stop w dat one)
Black people have shaped modern culture, and will continue to. Modern culture influences many, many things, including language. If youâre educated on why the double standards are a problem, understand that as a white person or a non-black POC youâre not gonna get as much shit for using AAVE, and arenât just fucking ur posts up with bastardized AAVE, thereâs no damn problem with using âon pointâ, or âhellaâ (yall mfs deadass abt this one?). Not a damn thing.
This doesnât extend to blaccents and digital blackface, ofc, but Iâd hope yall have some sort of grasp on nuance to know thatâs not what Iâm talking abt. gn
If you started reading this post and assumed I was reblogging to tell non-black people to stop using AAVE and didnât finish reading the post, please go and read the last part. Thank you.
Spicy take can we shift the conversation away from "Broadway needs to be accessible to everyone" and instead change it to "Broadway represents one very specific of what theater looks like and upholding Broadway as the best of the best of the best of theater is. Bad"
I know so many people who will spout paragraphs about how there should be proshoots of every musical ever but don't have the slightest clue what the community thetaer groups in their city are up to. Idk like yes absolutely 100% theater should be accessible to everyone but the idea that broadway, specifically, should be accessable to everyone is just. Reductive and unhelpful???
Also like. Idk not 2 b a capitalist on main but theater is an industry, and a ticket to a Broadway show is a luxury item. That's just how it is! The idea that everyone should be able to see a proadway show is like saying "everyone should be able to have an apple watch!" Which is like. I guess kind of true in a generalized redistribution-of-wealth, the-value-of-money-is-made-up kind of way, but it's just. Not a helpful way to navigate the conversation
Like is this about how art shouldn't be a privelege that is only afforded to the elite, and the ways in which art and capitalism overlap and the things that can be done to midigates that and ensure that art remains accessible to everyone while simultaneously ensuring people are paid for the work that they do, or this about you being mad that you didn't get to see your favorite musical? Bc those are FUCKING DIFFERENT conversations!!!!
