So. Here’s my evidence.

Just assume that they didn’t rewrite Wizard City for two seconds.

Changelings were said to have a strange/absent sense of danger/seriousness, finding things funny that normal children wouldn’t find funny, and a strange sense of maturity.

I would call that notable. “Studying on my own” when the other necromancer kids seem to be making at least a team effort? Hm. I’m gonna count it as changeling behavior for the fun of it.

Another mark of changelings is a weird relationship to danger, usually not entirely wrapping their heads around it or poking at it for fun. Which.

Darkmoor’s Tragedy theme is… there’s just nothing exactly like it in the game, it’s such a “oh, we’re in it now,” moment.

I don’t know how the Mortal Plain Combat theme manages to feel so serious and so silly at the same time. I think the sound of humans clapping/snapping is a really fun touch.

THE WALLARU DREAMING COMBAT. The bit at 0:45 SCRATCHES MY BRAIN SO GOOD. I like how the little melody just breaks through everything.

I’m sorry, Billabong Resort is so goofy as a field theme and I adore it. Suddenly, the 1920s appeared.
