I didn't go into this planning on keeping one of these apple dragons and I've never had a dragon type before outside of Reshiram (who barely even counts with how self sufficient it is).

Does anyone have advice for looking after Applins and/or Dipplins? The person who takes in some of the usual Palentines batch is unable to do so this year and since I have so much land I was asked to do it.

For applin, simply ensure they have access to fresh water, and you can offer fruit slices or juice as a treat! The mucus they produce preserves their apple to extend its shelf life so to speak. But it is also a food source, and it will also eventually begin to wither and need replacing. Usually any good quality apple will work, but some applin are picky, and if you have a highly specialized one they may only accept certain varieties. My little lady Biyaya is highly specialized to only accept pink lady apples.

I’m less familiar with dipplin, but I’ve been told their care is similar. They’re a little more specialized than applin because they require the help of a syrupy apple to evolve. These apples when coated in dipplin’s signature “candy shell” last a lot longer than an applin’s apple, but they’ll need replacing when you notice your dipplin is getting antsy and looks uncomfortable.

I'll probably bring a few apples from each type home to see if any of them have preferences or not. The syrup shouldn't be too hard since I've made similar things before to give to 'mons with sweet diets like Beautifly.

Rumor has it y'all ain't thought up of new material since the last time y'all keep askin' bout this.

I'm one of the many, many, many people in engineering responsible for upkeep of the mines and gym itself, including safety inspections and keeping everything in working order. Not only is the gym completely safe and up to code, but it is probably one of the safer gyms you could be in since there are a lot of people working at one time who are able to offer assistance to trainers in the event of an emergency.
