𝐀  𝐋𝐔𝐂𝐊  𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓  𝐇𝐄  𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃  𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐕𝐄  𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍  𝐎𝐃𝐃𝐒  𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄  𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐃  𝐒𝐎  𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇  𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓  𝐇𝐈𝐌   .  the  bleakness  of  the  fade  ,  the  deep  dark  unrelenting  fear  .  he  wasn’t  made  for  this  .  traipsing  about  like  he  knew  the  place  ,  like  it  wasn’t  some  scarier  version  of  the  deep  roads  .  was  that  how  that  thing  got  so  big  ?  feeding  off  the  fake  calling  of  the  wardens  to  gluttony  .  a  disgusting  prelude  to  the  enrapturement  of  his  own  damned  self  .

at  least  darkspawn  didn’t  take  over  peoples  minds  .  still  ,  it  was  a  wonder  he  had  survived  it  long  enough  to  find  a  corner  in  the  . . .  what  even  was  this  ?  goop  ?  water  ?  he  hated  the  fade  ,  with  its  demons   &   spirits  just  waiting  to  be  demons  ,  approaching  like  they  were  ready  to  feast  .  on  his  bones  no  doubt  .

their  situation  didn’t  change  his  opinions  ,  however  .  oh  no  ,  he  was  quite  vocal  about  them  ,  each  time  she’d  snip  right  back  .  it  was  banter  , but  there  still  lay  some  truth  behind  it  .  one  he  doesn’t  care  to  admit  to  .  but  their  fearless  leader  insisted  the  witch  was  more  than  he  would  deem  her  .  going  so  far  as  to  snap  when  he’d  found  himself  complaining  too  much  .

MY Alistair is primarily Warden Alistair with the default world state of the HOF being dead. OBVIOUSLY when I’m writing with HOF characters I will be more than happy to fit him into your world state, just have to let me know ! ( this discludes king universe, that is a separate timeline all together that would require discussion )

I also have it that Alistair became Warden-Commander of the Ferelden wardens post blight. I can and will be willing to adjust this if there are conflicts with one of my partners but just know I would like this to be considered my canon.
