It was rare for all of the noble houses to have a meeting with all of their heirs in a single room, but after recent events, this sort of meeting seemed necessary. When was the last time that she spoke with the other nobles in the Soul Society?
Knowing that she had to think on it meant that it was far too long. The meeting consisted on everyone being aware that there were few heirs for each house and everyone needed to have a back up plan, should the worst of the worse were to happen. Kukaku was honestly bored out of her skull during this meeting. Especially when they made the threat of setting up arranged marriages if they weren't proactive.
A subtle roll of her eyes could be seen from the Shiba head as she looked between the elders. When they were dismissed, she stretched her arms out, both her real and prosthetic, above her head. She watched the others walk by her before noticing Byakuya walk by her. Curious of his thoughts on the meet; one that could have easily been a damn letter, and walked past him and gave his arm a light nudge. "Hey Kuchiki, you got a second?"
Tessai drew in a stiff breath through his nostrils at the spiritual pressure that flooded his senses, heralding a presence prior to the voiced inquiry that confirmed it. Consequently, he was already at the door, ready to receive their guest.
โGreetings, Kลซkaku-dono.โ He gave her a small, courteous bow, noting the case clutched in her prosthetic hand. โOne moment, please. I will fetch Tenchล.โ
With that, he excused himself to the back rooms of the Shลten. Moments later, the shoji that partitioned the dining room from the main shop slid open, and a gangly, slightly stooped figure clad in green stepped out, slipping into geta at the genkan and clacking his way through the shop. โAhโKลซkaku!โ
The shopkeeper paused before her, eyes dancing with amusement and warmth. โWhat a lovely surprise! He didnโt invite you in? Apologiesโan oversight, Iโm sure. Please, by all means, make yourself at home.โ He nodded back to the interior dining room whence heโd come, a hint of a smile gracing his lips as he led her to towards it. โAfter all, youโve come all this wayโโ
The irony would not be lost; it was a short journey by Senkaimon, to be sure. A small leap in transit; a much larger one socially... But he was nothing if not a gracious hostโand as always, a curious one.
โWhatโs in the case?โ
Kukaku took his invitation to take a seat at his dining table, careful to place the suitcase on the table in front of her. "This is a gift I made for you. I know your birthday isn't for a while but I figured..since you deal with more weird shit on the daily than I do, you could use these." She would slowly slide the suitcase across the table towards Kisuke, "Do be careful with it. I wouldn't want the whole case to blow up in your face..literally."
Inside the suitcase was a set of grenades with rainbow fuses and a pack of matches. "I was experimenting with my fireworks earlier this week while doing my usual test runs in the morning and somehow managed to make explosives that make a flash bang that can blind anyone within a ten mile radius. Could come in handy if you find yourself surrounded or need to create a diversion somewhere down the line. Each of them do the same thing, the smoke that comes out after they explode is randomized though. Once you light them, you have one minute before they go off. Hopefully that will give you enough time to get out of range."

When it came to explosives and making a flashy enterance, Kลซkaku would like to think she knows a thing ot two about how to do both. Though her enterance in the world of the living wasn't as flashy as she would have hoped, she knew the merchendise she carried with her was certain to make quite the flashy explosion.
She had been working tirelessly for the past two weeks on perfecting the explosive bombs she had in her case. Of course, she would be more than happy to demonstrate her work, but only if her old friend wasn't overly busy. Making her way to the double doors for his shop, she carefully opened one of the doors with her prosethic hand while her good hand held a special suitcase that had seals on them as a safety precaution. She might have been a pryromanic, it didn't mean that those around her were fine with the idea of being around explosive fire.
She glanced around, looking for Kisuke. Hopefully she didn't miss him while he was out running errands or busy with some other business associated with his shop.
"Hey Kisuke, you around..?" she called out.
(I'll be writing some feels here soon. With it being Kaien's bday, Kลซkaku is going to be visiting his grave.
