So I"m going to try and do this in my chronlogical order of slowly dislking and then not liking Jennifer at all. I will notate the thing I just realized with an asterisk or someting.

I started dislking even if it was underneath yeears of other feeltns for other peopel in S3.

IN s3, is the first time we hear of Kelly's mom from his perspecive, the only other time I remember kind of hearing about kelly's mom in S1 and Benny tells Kelly he's 3 times married from Kelly's mom.

In s3, while kelly is talkng to apirl about the senior year and how he ignoed her and that he wasn't that guy anymore. he says his dad cheated on his mom in hier bed, in Kelly's house with a teacher. And Jennifer blamed her son, wondering how long he knew

She blamed her 17-18 year old son for her husband cheating. to digress for a momnet, no one including her deserved to be cheated on but to blame your kid.

2nd. We meet her in s6 , we can tell Kelly loves his mother. But also he doesn't think his life is her buisness. Valid.

NOt only does she sleep with her ex-husband/his father after saying she just wanted to let him know he didn't break her.

Like you guys want to sleep together, fine. But to do it on your son's bed.

Your son, who she even told don't take the keys back from me. (not even mentioning that she sprung it on him that she was in town)

She slept on Kelly and Stella (let's be real it was alreayd their bed). bed.

She wants to act all happy family. Then Kelly is trying to protect her and again she is more about protecting and defending Benny.

Telling Kelly it was his fault and that Benny would have never come to he idea on his own.

He cares more about what you think than he lets on.

she does at the end says, don't be sorry, you were trying to protect me. But she could have started with that. She doesn't.

She blames Kelly.

Then when Kelly goes to get her purse, she tells Stella how she and Benny did a number on him.

To not give up on Kelly when things get a little rough, the moods, the women. He's his father's son.

Strike 2 Lady

Then in S7, she changes her whole attitude, I know that Katie came to visit. But Jennifer acted like she was he only wife beause she said , ti's bad enough to go to benny's funeral but to have to see them too.

Lady you guys broke up over 20 years ago

Anyway I digress, she tells Stella, your good for him stella. I can tell.

We don't know really what goes on between benny's funeral until kelly and stella talk about her when they get engaged.

****In ep 1 of s10. Kelly tells stella, i'm not scared of telling her. I just already know what she's going to say.

HOw does he know this? This is where my epiphany is.

Kelly's been engaged 2x. Once to Renee Whaley. 2nd was to Stella. (I know there was the marrigage to brittany but that wasn't really engaged)

We know that Kelly was thinking about propsing to Stella long before he proposed to her.

My brothers talked to my mother before they proposed to thier girlfriend.

I don't know if jennifer said this just before Stella or before he got engaged to Renee too.

He tells us, "She didn't suprpirse me, she just kept going on about Benny and how Severide men are doomed to fail at marriage.

Her son is sharing things weith her that at this point from my view she doesn' deserve this consideration.

She can't muster up a congrautlations. That th ewoman her son loves wants to marry him. This is not like maybe renee where they were young and fresh out of high school (obviousy I do't know when the two of them were engaged, but if Kelly was barely 30 in s1 and then it had been few years since seeing her so probalbuy early 20s when they were engaged.)

Sorry I digressed again. This is a woman that besides in s7 when Kelly and Stella were broken up. (I view it as 2-4 months but I dont' really know.) Kelly has been with one woman, his now wife for 5 years consistently (minus thier breakup). No congruatulations, just how he's going to mess it up.

It just makes me sad. I know Casey was happy for him but he couldn't talk about it a lot to Casey, since all 3 of them lived together and Shay isn't aorund. ***

Strike 3

There is one other thing that I need to mention. Thier wedding. YOu have one child Lady.

ONE. YOU HAVE ONE. AND AS STELLA SAYS YOU HAVE THE GOODEST OF SONS BECAUSE HE IS THE GOODEST OF MEN.

She states that she wanted to surprise him. Yes, they moved up thier wedding. But Casey from out of state made sure to be there. She had a week to book a flight. She didn't have to do it the day of. That's ridicoulous.

I truly bellieve that she wasn't going to come. I beive that Boden called her and proably offeed to pick her up at the airport. to bring her to the wedding. so she could be there for her son. She prbaboly said , i'm not going , I don't think they should get married. he's going to hurt her. Boden probapy told her to get over her fakeass self and be his mother. Suck it up for one day.

He has seen how happy Kelly is with Stella. He has seen how content Kelly is.

Because for Kelly's mom to say, I was going to surprise you...fine. But why are you getting on a plane the day of. No one does that. And...Porland is father than Minnesota

Portland is 4 hours nonstop to chicago

I looked it up. Do you know how long it would take a flight from Minnesota to Chicago.

1 hour and 47 minutes nonstop

if she wanted to drive, she could have driven 8 hours. I have driven to San Franciso from my hometown and that is 6 hours if we had went straight there.

She tells Kelly on the phone, the plane got delayed and says I wanted to surprise you. and to forget about what she said. "I've seen how committed you are to your bride to be.

Me: When doyou see that? Have you been to Chicago? When did this happen?
