Missed a day because I had a couple big projects to complete the last few days. Ahhh this quarantine is kicking my butt!

Friday- What is your favorite TV program at the moment (on Netflix etc)?

We are working our way through Ozark at the moment. I am on my third watch of Fringe, the most amazing show of all time. 

**On a side note for anyone familiar with Fringe, the cohabitant in this house shaved his head, his beard, and his mustache and now looks like an Observer :| The ‘rona quarantine got him. 

Saturday - Where is your favorite place in the world (eg a city you’ve been to, a restaurant, or a particular hiking spot)?

I usually ignore these in my procrastinating and crazy life as unnecessary and annoying BUT... my fiancee and I say 5 things we are grateful for when life gets overwhelming. Which happened today. And this reminded me of that. It’s not the big things that I’m thankful for (food, car, job) but the small little things everyday that keep me grounded. Thanks for the reminder Anon, I needed it.

2. My morning coffee always made by my amazing fiancée (and sometimes delivered!)

3. A job that allows me the opportunity to help others

Not sure when or why I became obsessed with this song, but nothing brings out my inner weirdo quicker than this song right hur. I sing it at the TOP OF MY LUNGS every time, no exception. Always puts me in a good and goofy mood! I think I might just start my day like that tomorrow.....

Missed a day! I’m not really a doodler (is that even a word??!?!?!?) but here are my pieces from our Paint N’Sip night (at home, of course). I made the dots in the middle from those furniture dot-thingys that I had lying around haha

What is your favorite food to cook or prepare?

I am Sicilian and love to cook and bake when I have the time! Anything with garlic is my specialty :) Right now I’m obsessed with making chicken/shrimp alfredo over spaghetti squash. My absolute favorite would be a giant pan of lasagna so I can share with all my friends and family!

Gotta be honest, this is not outside my window right now. We are in the midst of bleak early spring when everything is gray and ugly. All I can see is my neighbor’s backyard and the trees with no leaves. Couldn’t even make it look good in black and white. Kind of fitting since I got 100% furloughed from my dream job today. It was rough. I haven’t not had a job to go to since I was 11 years old.

I’ve already ranted about these pens yesterday, but I could go on for hours (and have!). They are 0.28 uni.ball signo in all the colors and I got them from Amazon. I especially LOVE the dark navy color! Using the smaller size made my notes so much neater and has ruined me for all the other pens in my life. Not sad at all though...

A picture of my most colorful notes (from the last week haha) I usually stick to one main color per lecture with at least one underline color. This makes all my notes colorful!! I love flipping through my notebook at the end of the semester and seeing all my hard work in rainbow colors 😁

Mon - Have you made a study schedule to help you study at home?

I use a planner to sketch out a loose schedule of which lectures and assignments I will tackle each day based on my work schedule and other activities (including date night!)

Tue - How are you being taught your lessons? (google classroom, teams etc.)

I was already in a distance-learning program and we use Blackboard. 

Wed - What’s your favorite study snack?

Nuts! I also like to have berries normally, but couldn’t find any on our last shopping trip.

Thu - How are you keeping active?

I go for a walk daily and fit in a run if the weather allows. I have also sprinkled in some yoga and weight lifting at home since my gym closed.

Fri - What is your favorite subject/topic to study at the moment?

I am in a very specialized program on reproductive clinical science, but I am most interested in my biostatistics course this semester. 

Sat - Where in your house is your favorite place to study?

At my desk in my office. I’m working on getting a comfier chair so I don’t damage my back sitting here for hours...
