rare was it that she'd recieved any queries about the origin of her powers.  when it did happen ,  it was typically by those who'd wanted it for their own gain ,  the type she - fire didn't want to give any information to.  times like that she'd simply find the quickest way to slink off ,  drown herself in worry ,  and change herself as much as she could.  for the question to come from weiss surprised her ,  so much so she fell into a wide - eyed silence for a noticeable moment.
