Love this gif set. Ben is in fantasy mood, he’s running with a scenario that is funny but pleasing to himself. It’s difficult to see any subtle ‘tells’ apart from the last gif. When he finishes the story he immediately looks down and does a ‘self groom’ by brushing his leg. He’s ‘resetting’ himself after enjoying his jaunt into fantasy. When ever we emotionally reveal, either via anger, humour, sadness, frustration, wishful thinking, we ‘gather’ ourselves after it’s over.  On the other end of the spectrum, Martin uses the ‘it’s none of your business’ as a standard reply in interviews to questions about his private life. He does it when asked about his kids. So the fact that he uses that line when asked about Ben is telling. If you watch video of him joking about other Hobbit costars he just launches into teasing, joking and innuendo without any blocking. He has used the patronising line of ‘teenage fantasy of 2 men fucking’ before. He reduces speculation to an immature notion, again defensive tactic. Martin’s reactions are far more telling than Ben’s in this instance. 

John is a military man, he loves routines. He gets up at the same time every day, makes a cuppa, and on the weekends he reads the paper until Sherlock stumbles out of bed, then he goes over and kisses him on the cheek. They make breakfast together, stealing kisses and and tangling their fingers together whenever they can. While they’re waiting for the toast john likes to press up against Sherlock and kiss along his jaw, just teasing, until Sherlock gets impatient and flips them around, lifting John onto the counter so their faces are level with each other. And John will smile into the kiss because Sherlock is such a teenager sometimes, and John loves him for it
