To make a wish, drop us an ask (anon or not) describing a Sherlock-related short fic or quick sketch you wish existed. We’ll publish your ask with relevant tags.

To grant a wish, write a ficlet or draw a sketch (this is meant to be easy/quick for creators, too). Reblog the original ask with the gift or a link to the gift and tag us at @sherlockwishingwell. The unfilled wish tag is a good place to start!

I wish someone would draw Sherlock with really long, curly hair. Like in Serbia, but he didn't cut his hair after Mycroft rescued him and he cleaned up.

I'd love a fic where 20-somethings Mycroft and Greg are together and teenage Sherlock lives with them. A couple scenarios I have in mind include Sherlock going on cases with Greg (and Mycroft worrying, even though Greg promises to keep him out of danger) or Mycroft and Greg giving Sherlock advice about his crush (John).

I am so, so frustrated. I have heaps of plot ideas for johnlock fanfic, but I'm an absolutely shit writer with incredibly high standards so I can never get anything out on page and be satisfied with it. I have many ideas I will never write and it saddens me, so I was wondering, is there a prompt dump anywhere? Like a page where I can share my prompts in the hopes that one writer will deem them worthy and fulfil at least one of them, or just get inspiration from it?

I would like to read the in-show newspaper article Kitty Reilly wrote after interviewing Richard Brooke/ Moriarty. It contains the lie that Sherlock’s deductions are just a scam, but also a lot of true information about Sherlock’s background that Mycroft told Moriarty about. I tried to pause on the article once and it just contains a few sentences that are repeated over and over again. I would like someone to elaborate on that.

I would like to read the in-show newspaper articles and interviews about Sherlock’s amorous activities with Janine.  (Since they shed a pretty heterosexual light on Sherlock’s (assumed) love life, I suppose John is pretty happy that those were published just around the time when “confirmed bachelor John Watson” left his wife shortly after the wedding and moved in with Sherlock again. That certainly prevented new, embarrassing rumours…)

Is it possible that you would consider tagging wishes as art or sketch wishes and fic wishes? I art but don't write and I'm sure others write but don't art and it could make it easier to find wishes that I can fill that need filling.
