He obsesses over women, and as soon as he gets what he wants he throws them away, treating them like objects to be used and abused. As soon as a woman doesn't submit to him, he uses all the tricks he can to get her in his bed.

The reason I used this line from what— Jeremy, I suppose I should mention, is his name— is thinking is because a few chapters earlier (as in, over 50, I don't know for sure) his thoughts about Flame were "i want to kill her", despite also saying he's in love (not outright, but i think he thinks he's in love, or is supposed to be).

That is to say, Jeremy, you are the men looking at her with an unfavorable gaze! And, he's a villain, everyone knows that in universe, which is why Flame, Baek Yuseol, Eisel, Hongbiyeon, Hwa Wonryang¹, they all avoid him!

They hate him for being weird about women.

He's also a good parallel to Ma Yuseung², but i want to get back to reading so I'm not explaining.
