These aren’t magic stones, they’re polymetallic nodules, potato-sized metal lumps packed with manganese, cobalt, and nickel.

But here’s the twist; when seawater flows over their surfaces, they generate tiny electric currents that can split water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen. No sunlight, no photosynthesis, just deep-sea chemistry creating breathable gas in the pitch black.

In the midst of us being feral about Mark's well-deserved success with Iron Lung, I wanna make sure we also credit David Szymanski with making a damn good game with such a solid concept to build on.

The idea to put a player in a capsule and force them to navigate blind is genius, the world he created and suggested through such minimal lore and simple graphics was so interesting that it possessed Mark to spend 3 years of his life developing a film about it.

Thank you David for making games, and thank you to Indie Horror developers in general for keeping horror novel and engaging and always pushing the envelope of what horror is and creating new, amazing experiences.

We wouldn't have met Simon were it not for David making Iron Lung in the first place.
