My newest obsession: Gossip Girl.
Favorite actress? Blake Lively.
WHY SO GORGEOUS.
Months down, I'm still staring at this picture like WHY SO GORGEOUS.
I don't think I'll ever be able to watch Glee's 'Don't Stop Believing' without crying ever again. Honest.
Okay, so if you haven’t heard I am making a scrapbook for Cote to commemorate her time on the show. If you want to participate here’s what you have to do:
Write her a short message. Thank he for her time on the show, tell her how much she’s changed your life, etc.
Give me your first name only….
I wanna do this!! I'll read this post later </3

So. Cote's leaving.
I cried for 30 minutes straight when I heard. I broke down and I wailed like a baby.
Eight years.
Eight years and she's leaving.
I heard about it like, over 24 hours ago, and I can't get my thoughts together. I'm going out, I'll be back later, and then I'll try and phrase things properly.
Right now, I just...can't.
How much America could I possibly fit on my body?
And those temporary [unless you want otherwise (; ] tattoos of the flag and stuff.
Hai Harm are you online right now
Japanese dwarf flying squirrels
holy fucking shit!
Oh. My. God.
Here’s the thing: Gibbs hadn’t seen Ziva in three months. He welcomes her back with a genuine smile and huge, tight hug. From the look on her face you can clearly see how much he cherishes her.
Somehow, I just can’t picture Ziva’s homecoming to Eli (after three years, not months) that way.
I love the fact that Gibbs took to Ziva so quickly, trusted her. From that moment on, they had this strong, father-daughter bond that ran deep - it just grew stronger, the love grew stronger. Gibbs was more of a father than Eli had ever been to Ziva.
When Eli visited Ziva after somewhat two years, unlike this reunion which was after three months, she can never believe that he visited her simply because she was his daughter - She had doubts about his motives, due to the kind of man Eli was.

A Is For A-L-I-V-E
So, I watched it when I came out, and this is what I thought of it.
It was an amazing episode, maybe a bit messy in some bits, but it was good overall.
Except just one thing.
What's in the trunk?!
We spent 3 months speculating. Was it a dead body? Was it Wilden? Maybe even Ashley Marin? Who was it?
There's the kicker.
We spent three months wondering, who was in that trunk? It never occurred to us that it could have been a what.
It was a pig, of all things. A pig. What, Marlene?
This gigantic build-up, everyone so excited to see what it was. To see who it could be. Then splat, a pig.
That was like, climbing up to this huge cliff, feeling all victorious, and then just falling off. Just like that.
Really?
A filming the girls [and Mona] at the car wasn't surprising in any way or form, to be completely honest. These are the same old tricks that were being pulled all the way back in Season 1.
Ezria, on the other hand...I felt that was good.
I mean, their relationship was what compelled me to watch Pretty Little Liars at the end of last year.
"It just feels like we're back where we started." That line completely broke my heart. That look in Aria's eyes, that statement, was true yet not. No matter how hard they tried, there was no way that they could possibly go back to that.
That would mean no one could know [but that was the problem again, wasn't it?]. That was also before either of them knew about Malcolm, and before Aria knew about Maggie. There'd be no way to take that all back.
That scene where Aria had the thought of the possibility of Ezra getting arrested gave me a heart attack. I choked, I'm not even kidding. He looked so angry, so hateful. He looked like he regretted everything. I was going to cry, I swear.
Although...I was painfully irritated by Ezra.
"I have a family now." Well, obviously, Ezra. Aria knew that too. Who do you think helped you find your son?
I was so annoyed at him. Yes, he had a family. But through everything, and I mean everything, who was there for him? Who stayed with him when things with his family were rough? Who stayed with him when he found out about his son? About Maggie?
That's right. Aria.
I guess...overall, it was a good episode, just a few things here and there that were just a little bit argh. So I guess I'd give it an 8.5/10? Really good, but the pig thing and that "I have a family now." quote just put it down a bit for me.
Well...I am disappointed.
My parents need the computer for work and I have more work to do [understandably yeesh] so what I'm gonna do, is I'm gonna either watch 'A is for A-L-I-V-E' at like, 1130pm, in just under 3 hours, or tomorrow morning. Either way, I will watch it.
Uhhh okay, can someone help? D: I've tried linking my Twitter to Tumblr, and it's DEFINITELY NOT WORKING. That's why I had so many test posts.
Okay, so I ticked 'Share posts on your Twitter', and then signed in with my twitter. Thing is, when I did that, sometimes it would say 'Service is temporarily unavailable'. I'd refresh and it'd bring me to the api page. I authorize the app, the webpage reloads, and then it automatically closes.
Is that supposed to happen...? I'm gonna say first, the screenshot above is from after I authorized Twitter. Several. Times.
Should I try revoking the access of Tumblr directly from Twitter [again] before reattempting to connect back? This is so annoying gosh ><
It's Time.
Waited 3 months for this. Now it's time.
'A is for A-L-I-V-E'...it's finally here.
Now, I would've watched it earlier, had there not been time difference and had I not been out with my family. But there is, and I was. So...
I'm gonna watch it in 45 minutes. Right now I gotta finish some work, and then I'll go and watch it. The links are loaded and ready for action.
I can't describe how excited I am. I'm typing calmly [so as to avoid parents maybe wanting to send me to an institution...] but all I want to do now, is jump, scream, laugh and cry all at the same time.
So for now, this is all I wanna know.
Who was in the trunk?! What happened to Ali, exactly? WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN TO EZRIA?! I NEED TO KNOW THAT.
*clears throat* Sorry...Ezria was a huge part of why I started watching, heh.
So yeah. I'll be commentating on my Twitter, which I created today to avoid other people getting spammed by my PLL-ness haha. So yeah, if you wanna see me freak [Which I might, hopefully not though cos that's gonna be messy. I think.] then go follow me! My username's @ShelteredStorm, same as my Tumblr (:
Yep, that's about it.
'A Is For A-L-I-V-E'.
T-minus 39 minutes. Leggo.
“We went to Kineshma, that’s in Ivanovo region, to visit his parents. I went as a heroine and I never expected someone to welcome me, a front-line girl, like that. We’ve gone through so much, we’ve saved lives, lifes of mothers, wives. And then… I heard accusations, I was bad-mouthed. Before that I’ve only ever been “dear sister”… We had tea and my husband’s mother took him aside and started crying: “Who did you marry? A front-line girl… You have two younger sisters. Who’s going to marry them now?” When I think back to that moment I feel tears welling up. Imagine: I had a record, I loved it a lot. There was a song, it said: you have the right to wear the best shoes. That was about a front-line girl. I had it playing, and [his?] elder sister came up and broke it apart, saying: you have no rights. They destroyed all my photos from the war… We, front-line girls, went through so much during hte war… and then we had another war. Another terrible war. The men left us, they didn’t cover our backs. Not like at the front.” from С.Алексеевич “У войны не женское лицо”
In Soviet Union women participating in WWII were erased from history, remaining as the occasional anecdote of a female sniper or simply as medical staff or, at best, radio specialists. The word “front-line girl” (frontovichka) became a terrible insult, synonimous to “whore”. Hundreds thousand of girls who went to war to protect their homeland with their very lives, who came back injured or disabled, with medals for valor, had to hide it to protect themselves from public scorn.
This has always happened in history: Women do something important. Then they get shamed for it (so nobody will talk about it) and it gets erased from history.
And then certain men will say: “Women suck, they’ve never done anything important.”
Look into history and learn that women have played a far greater role then douches (present and past) wanted you to know.
This reminds me of how Egyptian women, who participated in Arab Spring protests in great numbers and were critical to the revolution that ousted Mubarak’s regime, have only been treated with great disdain and violence for their passion and work.

Remember that time I made a post reminding people that okaying women for front-line combat is not the beginning of women fighting in wars, but only the beginning of men finally realizing we weren’t going to shut up about it? Remember after I posted that some dudebro came into my inbox and tried to claim I was wrong and that only a few “rogue women” were fighters?
Again, we have fought in every conflict and every war since the beginning of time. We’re the ones most likely to be victims of war crimes so you better fucking believe we fight for our homes, our people, our lives.
We fight alongside men and help them, save them, die for them as battle buddies and they turn around and write us out of their histories. They erase our efforts, our sacrifices, our deaths.
