I realized pretty recently that I never really came on here and talked about the book I'm writing. Like, I asked for help on it, but I never really talked about it. So, even though not one person asked for this, here's everything you need to know about my first ever book, When Friends Fall In Love!
PLEASE KEEP IN MIND: This is my first book, like, ever. A Taylor Swift inspired one at that, and I don't know a whole lot about Taylor Swift personally, like I'm not as into her community as I know a lot of people are, but I do know that the community of people who share this collective love for Taylor will hopefully love something like this, considering the amount of references I'm going to be putting into this book, but this book is also basically like my passion project. I have always wanted to write a book, I always thought the process was fun, but so so insane, but i am personally ready for the physical and mental chaos writing this book will bring me :>
The book itself is a clean, super fluffy, swoon-worthy high school romance, which is ultimately like, my favorite type of romance lol
It's set in Pennsylvania (don't ask, idk. first state I thought of when I was doing the planning)

One thing to know about the main character Emma basically made Taylor Swift her entire personality ever since she was like, 5 and could really understand the impact of Taylor's music. She had practically begged her parents to take her to the Eras Tour, so she could see Taylor - she didn't get to personally meet her, nor did she get the 22 hat, but that didn't matter to little Emma, she just loved the experience - and of course getting dressed up and getting to trade friendship bracelets! The love for her music is all thanks to her mom Juliet, who is probably the biggest Swiftie Emma knows (I'm not joking when i say this btw, she literally named her kids after different Taylor Swift references, Emma (obviously referencing Taylor's song "When Emma Falls in Love") Cory because of the "romantic" relationship Taylor and Cory Monteith had (and Juliet absolutely loved everything about even though those two weren't factually together), and Dean because of that one lyric from Style - aka the song that played when she gave birth to Dean, I wish I was kidding - ("You got that James Dean daydream look in your eye."), and as the only girl and oldest of 3 siblings, her younger brothers have just gotten used to all of Emma's Swiftie antics.

Moving on to Emma's best friend (and all-time crush) literally since 2nd grade, Ryan! Ryan knew since him and Emma became friends, that Emma was a Swiftie, he wasn't all too sure about Taylor's music in the first few years of his and Emma's friendship, but slowly, through all of the carpool karaoke sessions and late night treehouse meetings, he started to understand why Emma loves Taylor's music so much. He doesn't really get any of the jokes in the community, but that doesn't matter to either of them, Emma was just happy to finally have another person to radiate her for love for Taylor onto, and Ryan was just happy seeing Emma so happy every time he'd sing a random lyric from her favorite songs.

When these 2 were 8 years old, the summer before 3rd grade, Emma's family decided to open a bubble tea shop, and it quickly became the hotspot for after Ryan's flag football games and random weekend outings.

Writing is truly something I've loved doing since I was in high school, and this book has been so fun to work on! I'll probably be posting more about this book over the next few months, and I can't wait to talk more about it!!
