I was listening to the Good Omens opening title sequence on YouTube and reading the comments as one does. I just miss them, ok? The absolute dichotomy of these two comments gave me whiplash. The romantic and the jester. So very different, but neither is actually wrong. It’s how Good Omens makes them feel. That’s the fandom. And i think that’s beautiful. And also hilarious…

I’ve been dreaming about Aziraphale and Crowley having adventures together. Last night, I woke up legit blushing because I dreamed about them making out.
What I’m saying is God was wrong about the story not going beyond its pages. Your only limit is your imagination (asleep or otherwise). Mine is apparently slightly horny…
It’s been a week and I’ve done a lot of processing.
I am devastated that the Aziraphale and Crowley we know never got their happy ending. Never got to hold each other without fear. Never got to see the new world they created.
I also feel immense joy. Their love and sacrifice is built into the fabric of every universe. They will find each other again and again throughout history and throughout dimensions. They are soulmates.
I feel both of these emotions. I am an enigma. I am a contradiction. Anyone else the entire bus too, not just one side?
(Plus, the optimist in me feels like the OG Aziraphale and Crowley are in the snow globe, or in a pocket universe. Somewhere. Shhhh…)
When Satan comes into the bookshop, Crowley has such a threatening, menacing glare. But, the second his eyes move to Aziraphale when he asks “Which book?”, Crowley’s eyes instantly become so incredibly soft. He’s just so in love.
Thank somebody David was not wearing his sunglasses for the whole bookshop ending.

im so sorry but i feel like some of us are sleeping on the “why give me crowley, why make me feel complete and then take him away from me” line a bit too much cause aziraphale said that to god ?? in her face ??
an angel, whose purpose is to serve and devote themselves to god, who can’t love anything more than them. an angel saying that he feels complete not only by another being (which is already huge) but by a demon !!!
i can’t imagine a greater love confession, not from aziraphale, who always tried—even forced himself—to have faith in god’s plan and intentions, to serve her blindly and to be on her side and her side only.
aziraphale, who barely dared to speak to her when asked, now standing his ground at the boundaries of a universe that already ceased to exist, with nothing left to lose, and nothing left to fight for. speaking up for himself, blaming god for his own misery, for creating someone so perfect for him but never letting him live that love openly and freely. they spent 6000 years dancing around each other, pretending they weren’t an us, because he couldn’t go against the ineffable plan, against his purpose as an angel, against god. meanwhile, god didn’t care at all.
and now here they are, god, satan, aziraphale and his other half, one step away from eternal nothingness, from complete and cruel erasure. and here he is, this angel who in his lord’s face confesses his love and devotion to the one who actually inspired him, who showed him what pure kindness and selfless, unconditional and stubborn love really look like. not the almighty herself, but crowley. the best of god’s angels according to aziraphale, and probably the one who was hurt the most by her.
crowley completes aziraphale, he makes him feel whole. and in the end, crowley is the one aziraphale chose
Exactly. I think i’ve actually lost count of the times I have watched this scene. I do wish we had gotten a bigger reaction from Crowley. People say it’s because he already knows, which I understand. But, it’s the first time Aziraphale said it. Aloud. In front of God herself. It’s devastatingly beautiful. Michael Sheen shatters my heart with his performance and yet I feel a warmth tenderness that gives me hope. That that kind of love can be found at all.
We all need to remember this. Fandom should always remain a safe place. Harassing others (including those involved in the production) is inexcusable.
For those that are in pain over the finale, it’s ok to be critical while still remaining respectful. Although it feels like Aziraphale and Crowley are gone, in reality they are still here. You can still read the book, watch the first season any time you’d like. No one can take that away from you.
For those that loved the finale, celebrate it. Enjoy it. Analyze it. Draw it. But, remember not to invalidate other’s feelings.
Good Omens is about celebrating humanity. It’s about love.

Good Omens broke me. In a good way? In a bad way? I actually can’t figure out which. I just know that it broke me and I can’t stop thinking about it.
I have a lot of feelings about the finale, but one thing that has stayed with me. To go from:
“Oh, he’s not my friend. We’ve never met before. We don’t know each other”
To…
“Why give me Crowley? Why make me complete and take it away?”
That, my dear sweet angel, is what we call growth. My heart aches in those final 20 minutes, but, Aziraphale, you have come so far.
I keep thinking about their future kiss. Will it be slow and gentle, basking in the glow of finally expressing their true feelings? Or, will they fly towards each other with the force of a magnetic pull, passionate and determined? Will there be almost kisses peppered throughout after avoiding talking about their feelings and focusing on the task at hand? I NEED TO KNOW. I find myself daydreaming about these ineffable idiots (affectionate) and I can’t focus.

Here’s the thing. I wouldn’t have been bothered if they hadn’t kissed prior to the end of Season 2. Throughout the show, they expressed their love in other ways: acts of service, words of affirmation, warm expressions, etc. But then the final 15 happened. That kiss was was born of desperation. And yet, Aziraphale still touched his lips after, as if missing the pressure of Crowley’s lips on his own. Then there’s that Ineffable Con interview with Rob Wilkins. He basically said that Aziraphale's reaction to the kiss was supposedly a look that said "Do it again--right now." They introduced kissing. Before, I would have been satisfied. No one is saying they still don’t love each other because they never properly kissed again. But, because the final 15, I wanted another kiss that was actually romantic and loving. I was so sure we were going to get at least one. MY EMOTIONS. Good Omens, do you pay for people’s therapy bills? Asking for a friend…

Who else feels like a kid on Christmas Eve? [vibrates with anticipation] Will I, an adult with a full time job, wake up at 3 AM to watch it when it premieres? Maybe. Perhaps. Most Definitely.
The posters are just so much better when they are together. So much more meaningful. Even their quotes have a bigger impact when read together. Just like them. They come as a set. For the love of anybody, do NOT separate!!

I love the idea that they have always been in love, but didn’t recognize it as love until their respective “Aha” moments: Crowley saving the books in 1941 for Aziraphale and talking with Nina for Crowley. “Oh, that stomach turning, I would do anything for you, you make every single day better, I want to make the world better for you, that’s romantic love? Huh.” Idiots. I adore them. No one is doing it like them.
7 more days!! That’s a work week. That’s a school week. That’s a nice vacation. That’s nothing. Think about it however you’d like to get you through.
I myself am thinking about the way Aziraphale and Crowley look at each other and it legitimately makes me blush. I can’t wait to finally get more glances between them!
