(anon w the shy and awkward trans girl) it’s hard bc it’s easy for my brain to misinterpret her awkwardness as disinterest. she’s also a very busy person so it’s been hard for us to get much time together since we admitted our feelings and it’s been a bit of a journey for me to not take that personally. i find her pretty hard to read sometimes but i know she likes me :( i just wish she’d be more assertive about expressing it but it’s hard to ask for that bc. it’s not necessarily just that she’s afraid i won’t want it (which i think is partially the case) (even tho i feel like ive been p clear that I Want Her So Bad), it’s also wrapped up in my brain in layers of “what if she’s just not that into me” and “she just doesn’t have the capacity to give me all the affection i want and im being too needy by wanting it” and trying to unwrap all of that is hard and can make me go insane if i think about it too much (and it has)
