GAMIFICATION AS AN EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR LEARNING
What exactly gamification does? Gamification uses games ā based mechanics, aesthetic and games thinking to engage people, motivated actions, promote learning and solve problems in a non-game context. Games are often more powerful tools for learning than traditional training ways. Although, games keep engage learners on a deeper level, as well provide competition, rewards and feedback. Games are great strategies because they allow you learn in a quickly way.
For instance, Facebook provides updates on usersā gaming activities, and scores achieved. Most companies have offered e-learning training environment to employees. Ā Two month ago, I received a customer services training, and it was on training e-learning. This training was basically a game trained and made me go back and play it over again and again until I got the reward requested in order to move to the next module. I feel a learnt a lot in a really fun way. Gamification increases workers engagement, and motivate participation.
In fact, gamification is simple apply game elements, game thinking and games strategies when you make your own instructions to move your learn through instructions mechanics and achieve success.
