Get to know VANELLOPE VON SCHWEETZ who’s TWENTY-THREEyears old and is a RACER around town. . She is from CORONA and is often times mistaken for NAOMI SCOTT while others say she reminds them of VANELLOPE from WRECK IT RALPH.

BASIC INFO.
vanellope was orphaned at the age of four following a car crash that killed her parents. they'd been returning home on christmas eve following a charity event when a patch of black ice caused the car to skid off the road.
fortunately, the small girl was ejected from the vehicle and landed on a pile of snow. she survived but suffered from amnesia. waking up in the hospital with no recollection of who she was or where she was left the small child scared and terrified of the people around her.
the only living relative who could take her in was her uncle, beau but because of greed he signed her over to be put into the system. see, beau wanted to take over the von schweetz car business and with vanellope set to inherit the company when she became of age, she was in his way.
unable to adjust, vanellope bounced from home to home. she was closed off and scared of new people, most families didn't want to put in the effort to work with her. as the years went by, the young girl began to act out which only made it harder for her.
her school years weren't easy. she could never quite grasp reading and writing was difficult. she tripped over her words when reading outloud in class. vanellope only began to act out more and at the age of eight she was finally diagnosed with dyslexia and humiliated by the bullying she'd begun to face, vanellope refused help.
it wasn't until her teacher reached out to her foster parents at the time --- one of the few vanellope actually liked --- that she finally gave in and started accepting the services provided for her. over the years she approved but it doesn't mean she no longer struggles.
none of the kids her age wanted her around. they made fun of her tripping over her words while reading aloud in class by calling her a glitch. vanellope felt lonelier than ever. she didn't feel loved or wanted in her homes and she didn't have friends at school, she didn't have anyone but herself.
all vanellope wanted was to be loved and accepted, even if it was by those who tormented her. she puts on a front as if she doesn't care but she does, a lot. that's why she feels so grateful for anyone who's nice to her, no mater hwo big or small. she feels in debt to them. people being kind to her is such a foreign concept.
video games and race tracks are her happy places. she gets into the former as an escape from reality. she'd go to sugar rush arcade every day and it was the only place to bring a smile to her face until she discovered driving that is.
she got behind the wheel for the first time at thirteen following a fight with her foster parents at the time and stole their car for a joyride. the rush of driving around corona was addicting, it was better than the video games she played. though she earned herself a spot at a group home for problem children, vanellope had no regrets.
on top of taking shop classes, vanellope used her spare time in high school to teach herself everything she needed to know about cars and bikes from taking them apart and learning the parts to how to fix them to what vehicle better suits what terrain and the perfect mods to make them go extra fast.
stepping onto the race track for the first time left vanellope in a wonder. she was so fascinated by all the cars and how fast everyone went. she knew in that moment she wanted to be racer. nothing else made much sense to her, it was like she was born to be on that track --- number one on the leaderboard to be specific.
while she loves the racetrack, vanellope finds herself needing more adventure and danger. she needs somewhere she can be herself without constant ridicule and bullying. for this, she turns to the illegal drag racing scene. she knows the dangers and she knows she shouldn't but it gives her the rush and acceptance she desperately seeks. plus, the money she wins is too good to give up.

she’s not much of a drinker but when she DOES drink she’s a sucker for anything that tastes like actual juice which leads her to drinking too much.
she can be feisty at first and her mouth can get her in trouble but she’s really a big soft marshmallow on the inside.
she loves video games. she plays anything that has to do w racing she also likes gta, sims, fortnite
she’s bi til she dies, but has a preference for women.
she suffers from depression and has attempted to kill herself.
she can glitch and for a couple days she was terrified til she realized how awesome it was.
she used to live out of her car then lived with flynn until they accidentally started a fire.
she lives with ralph now.
