Are there low points? Yes. Is it flawed? Absolutely. But there's a reason it grabbed so many of us and held on and it wasn't only fanwork. It was the heart creators put into it, the humor and the story built around improv and bits of other media. It was the lore, messy and convoluted but fun and engaging and something I still think about often

i really like scarian. and fandomised scarian is not really my thing but seeing people rag on it has made me very protective of my fellow fans. i really dc if a lot of fan content is yaoified or mischaracterised or completely removed from the source material. im just glad my fellow scarian lovers are having fun. i protect the fandom right to be cringe with my life

This might be an over exaggeration but I think the Life Series fandom is slowly becoming very toxic. A lot of people are getting pissy over fans liking popular things like watcher lore and dessert duo, and it all just rubs me the wrong way. Can we all just let people like the things they like?!?!

too much grian hate i love his vibe. he avoids twitter like the plague and uses instagram in place of it. he’s swift to remind the audience to be civil but completely ignores fandom. his otp are his cats. he switches between natural manager and little weirdo on a whim. he enjoys bothering all of his friends but jimmy solidaritygaming in particular. if he is not the most chaotic person in the bit he immediately falls back on being the straight man. not that his minecraft character acts straight, he will NOT stop the homoerotically charged interactions but only pulls them out on a select few. he’s not the main character and it’s annoying when people solely focus on grian when there are other creators on the server with him but he’s not overhyped either and i appreciate him
