this was supposed to have so much more to it,, i wanted it to be like after megatron switches sides but right before optimus sends bee into hiding. So bee is like getting used to new to his new alt mode and since he’s never had wings before he sucks at taking care of them so he asks megatron for help because he’s probably dealt with starscreams wings once,,

hope a plot is able to be distinguished from this 😭

It’s in part to people treating bumblebee as a real person that has a set story and not a character whose lore and personality can literally be changed by anyone.

If you want to get actually cannon with it Bumblebee is not Optimus’s son like in any of the continuities. Sure he looks up to Optimus and Optimus cares deeply for bumblebee but like… Optimus is like that to nearly everyone cause his character is very fatherly/motherly.

I say this as some who has been wanting to write a baby bee being adopted by Optimus fic. I eat those fics up all the time.

But it gets to point to where people are so obsessed with wanting everyone else to follow the “popular fandom headcannon” and attack people who like ships like OpBee cause “they’re literally father and son!”

No, they’re literally not. Like in the canon of most (not all cause I haven’t seen every single media) transformers media they aren’t.

I wanted to make this post cause I’ve been getting a lot of traffic on my blog lately and I know how certain people are when it comes to these kinds of discussions. I know I have my pinned post but I just wanna add this just cause.
