So. Um. JK Rowling decided to take an upskirt photo of a trans woman, posted it to social media, and when she got heat for it, said that it was the trans woman’s fault for choosing to dress that way.

Like, cool, JK, you have spent the last decade proving that its never been about feminism and its been your own bigotry the entire time, and then hammered in the fucking nail by committing a sex crime

@glitchyrobo and Ms Teagan being accused of playing the victim and being the actual source of all of the drama in the community (a wild fucking take if I’ve ever seen one)

A resurgence of previously forgotten drama surrounding @sheepwavehdg editing the TV Tropes page for HDG to paint the setting as an explicitly pornographic and hypersexual writing project and erase the asexual roots of the project

The Anonymous Feralist saying they will engage with the setting no more (thank the Lords of Kobol)

People disputing the definition of sexual abuse and accusing each other of being rape apologists.

General bad-vibe drama

Honestly, I am continuously shocked at how this community continues to fucking devolve behind the scenes. Like, y’all are fucking insane, and that’s coming from someone whose old pseudo was CrazyMinh.

I mean, uh, I kinda already did.

My dad had to get my help updating our family’s Hyundai electric car because the update software wouldn’t unpack on MacOS and I had (at the time) the sole Windows laptop in the family. So I kinda downloaded a car’s operating system. If that counts.
