Dear Mr. Ex , You probably weren't expecting this and trust me neither was I. Regardless after all this time, I'm still compelled to write you. You may never see me or speak to me but know this. You hurt me and I'm learning to forgive you. Trust me though, I will not forget it. Even though you don't deserve it. Here I am giving it: don't be fooled though. My kindness is not an invitation to waltz in like nothing happened. Though knowing you, speaking at all of uncharacteristic of you let alone trying to earn something back. Overall, I'm writing this to know that I will not be the reason for your sadness. You had left before sadness could even settle. I'm writing to know that it's still okay to care even if I'll never see you. And that my friend is what caring for someone is in its truest form.
