There was a cold hit from reality as he felt Ponsol pulling away from him, and he just stepped back once, moving closer to his cousin. He shouldnāt have tried to hold Ponsolās hand, how embarrassingā¦Ā and to add even more to his embarrassment, both Urie and Izumi had continued with that line of thought.
āNeedā him? He felt the heat rise to his cheeks as Izumiās words reached him. Did he? Izumi was perceptive when it came to emotions, so he was probably right⦠even if right now this just felt awkward and embarrassing.Ā He wanted to dig a hole and hide in it. Forever. scratching the back of his neck as he tried to lower the redness in his face he reached for Izumiās shoulder.
āIzu-chan thatās okay⦠you donāt have to go so farā¦ā he gently holds his cousin from the shoulder, eyes skipping around nervouslyĀ āIā¦ā What could he even say at this point?Ā āIt isnāt anything so dramatic⦠I just⦠Iād appreciate if you came along. I want to talk⦠a bit more, thatās all.ā
[ā§ļ¾ļ½„*ā*dļ¾ā§Ā ] Ponsol was really in no mood to be going along with anything, much less intruding on a date. He had more class in him to do that, so stop trying to make him. Double date no less. He was still a bit curious as to why he seemed so intent on going on this date with Izumi when⦠he was no female. From what he knew (from the social function grapevine), Urie was only really interested on going on dates with females.
Perhaps he had a sudden change of heart and he decided to āchange sidesā as they say? That certainly would be an interesting thought, wouldnāt it?
Ā Ā Ā āI wasnāt aware that youād changed sides, Urie. How this news would spread.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Here is my business card, you can talk to me at another time when you arenāt
Ā Ā Ā Ā on a date. I donāt have a habit of mixing business with pleasure. I certainly am
Ā Ā Ā Ā not one who would be crude enough to intrude. Iām sure youād much rather go
Ā Ā Ā Ā on a date by yourself without anyone else tagging along for the ride, am I right?ā
Since when did you start batting for the other team, so to speak? You werenāt going to go on a tangent and tell me about how wonderful Sena is, and thatās why you started seeing men, are you? In that case, he wonāt even bother politely declining, heāll outright stomp his refusal in your face. Heād fished out a business card from his jacket and held it out for Urie to take. You could contact him at any time and then they could sit for a cup of coffee and discuss anything else at their own time and leisure.
Heād stopped to exchange a couple more words with Urie , but then the younger of the two models spoke up timidly and Ponsol stopped in his tracks once more and his anger flared. Could you PLEASE leave him alone?
He was mad. Very mad. HE WANTED TO BE MAD AND STAY THAT WAY!!ābut alas⦠he was pretty weak to sincerity as it isnāt something you often see in the business world.
Stay mad. Get angry. Storm off.
Just cuss them out and walk awayābut no.
As he was about to speak up, Izumi decided to say something instead, and there was that prick of anger once more. Talk? What about? Want to talk about the fact that your best friend rejected him? No thanks.
This was the first time that Ponsol had given any of the three the worst glare he could possibly give them.
Ā Ā Ā āTalk? What about? If you dare bring up my brother here of all places, youād best
Ā Ā Ā Ā not. The moment he is brought up in conversation, Iām leaving. In respect to hiā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā her bowing her head, I will agree to tag along only for biscuits and that alone. Is
Ā Ā Ā Ā that acceptable? Those are my terms, and if they arenāt met, the deal is off, okay?ā
What say you all now? How about⦠you leave him ALONE.
:ļ½”ć»:*:ć»ļ¾'ā Changed sides? Urie tilted his head slightly, brows furrowed in the only external show of his confused mind, unable to keep up with the words. At this point it would almost seem as if he was purposefully choosing to ignore the cues about izumiās real gender⦠but alas, he really was still in denial about whatever interest he could have in menā¦
:ļ½”ć»:*:ć»ļ¾'ā āAs expected, this is quite professional of youā he shrugged slightly, accepting the business card before presenting his very own forward. it was a rather simplistic design, picked by his father rather than by himself -and one of the few pieces he carried on his person that branded the name Fuser instead of Sogami.Ā āAnd we canāt always get exactly what we want, now can we?ā
He didnāt liked, however, that feeling of being caught up in the middle of some sort of⦠disagreement. Both with Ponsolās rough reply and the hurt expression that washed over the modelās face right after. It sure made him reconsider this whole double date situation⦠He was worried Izumi might be getting scared⦠so reaching towards āherā, he patted the blondeās head gently and reassuringly. No matter what heāll make it a pleasant experience for you, little butterfly, donāt you doubt it.
āSounds perfect to me.ā
The blond felt the hand on his shoulder and he looked up, seeing it belonged to his cousin. He frowns, straightening himself up and he looks towards Ponsol as he spoke. However, he should have not looked at all. Because the moment he set his eyes on Ponsol was the moment he cowered behind his cousin and he pulled Urie closer to also use him as some sort of shield.
He was already scared, he wasnāt sure what happened between him and Sena but he had to step in just for his cousin. He only had hoped he wasnāt over stepping but it seemed he did and he was frightened. The pat on his head only did someĀ to calm him but other than that, he held onto Urieās hand tightly and Senaās arm got the same treatment as well.
He wasnāt sure how to feel that Ponsol tagged along, but this was for Sena. He eventually lets go of his cousin and hugged onto Urieās arm. Tight.
He didnāt say a word but only nodded to the terms. He covered his face against Urieās arm. Izumi doesnāt know Ponsol but all he knows is that heās really scary and he can only hope for Sena to handle him.
