lowbloodpressurelordā:
The mouse still wasnāt looking at him, not that he was particularly bothered whether the omega paid him any heed or not. It was merely an observation that he took note of, an observation that wasnāt too unexpected. He wasnāt so egotistical, as some alphas were, to believe that he as an alpha was a gift to omega-kind. He was more than aware that this arrangement was likely as abhorrent to his future spouse as it was to him, if the hint of faux politeness was anything to go by.
Truthfully⦠if the situation had been any different⦠if it had been one of his brothers or some other alpha that was engaged to the silver haired omega then Kyouya would have felt sorry for him, perhaps even felt indignation at the unfairness or how the Ootori patriarch exerted his dominance and enforced archaic customs⦠but it wasnāt another alpha, it was him. Was it selfish to feel exclusively frustrated over his own fate when it wasnāt as severe considered from the point of the omega? Perhaps, but even then, he couldnāt bare to bring himself to care overly much about the suffering of the one who was indirectly causing his.
With the standard greeting protocol behind them, it was time to get down to business and after a momentary pause, a power play of sorts no doubt, his father indicated they all make their way to the table prepared for them. Kyouya inwardly rolled his eyes at the unnecessary display, as if there was any doubt in anyoneās mind who held all the power in this room.
His ebony orbs trailed the omegas movement towards the table even as he made his way to his own seat feeling slight disgust at how they had to wait for an alpha to condone them taking a seat. Unfortunately, as the youngest alpha in attendance, it was not his place to speak even if the omegas in question were his future spouse and mother-in-law since they were not bound yet.
Kyouya felt his skin crawl when the omega took a seat next to him but nodded politely at the repeated greeting. It was then that he first caught sight of the luminous cerulean eyes the other possessed and was momentarily struck by their beauty which then served to aggravate him further. He would NOT be won over no matter stunning those eyes were.
At the spoken request, he wished he could hiss aĀ ādo what you wantā and be done with it but it was not to be. Here at the table all eyes would be on them and while he didnāt particularly care about convincing the omega of his sincerity his family were another matter entirely. The Ootori men, being the esteemed businessmen they were, had eyes like hawks and could read faces like books. He had to pull off a convincing enough act to satisfy the patriarch or heād be in for it later.
Obsidian eyes softened slightly and a genteel smile appeared on his face as Kyouya served the omega instead without giving him a chance to refuse.
āNo, no. Please, allow me.ā
The Ootori, in some ways, had a different stance to some of the common practices adhered to by most. In their mind, any common alpha could get an omega to wait on them hand and foot but they believed such behaviour to be uncouth and a bad reflection on the alpha. It was a matter of pride to such an elite family like theirs to show their dignity as alphas by how well they could care and provide for their omegas because they could afford to do so. This did not mean they would go overboard in said demonstrations however, but small caring actions were deemed acceptable, if not expected.
This was likely to be the only time they spent together before the official marriage so this was the onlyĀ ācourting timeā they would get. No doubt his father expected him to make use of it too.
Utterly ridiculousā¦
āDo you have any preferences for food? This establishment has quite a satisfying variety.ā
If he was requested complete honesty on his thoughts, Izumi would have to admit his absolute lack of pity or care for the alpha before him. Ever since his unexpected presentation as an omega turn his life upside down, resentment against alphas as a whole had done nothing but built up on the solid foundation of despair and shame that was his heart.
From being kicked out of his special classes to being forcedĀ to hide his secondary gender from everyone at school just to be admitted in it... each affront digging deeper and harder into his hatred for alphas.
And now, when he thought life would turn for the better... than heād be able to get a job by his own merit, and stop hiding his secondary gender. This happened. All of the sudden, not even giving him a chance to step back- making it feel like a bucket of ice-cold water had been thrown over his head.
Without a chance to gather his thoughts, and properly resign himself to his future, he was thrown in the middle of his anger to a game of house with a man he didnāt even know. If anything all that practice from idol events and fan-signs helped him keep his unwavering smile.
It however, didnāt quite prepare him for the sudden gesture, the jug of ice cold water heād been trying to reach being taken before he could do much to prevent it, his own glass being served with a gesture both tender and elegant. Slightly taken aback by the unexpected of it all, he blinked a couple of times before remembering to smile and nod, accepting the glass that had been offered to him and taking a sip from it. The ice cubes clanking against each other, the cold drink seemed to help him cool his head a bit.
āThank you, Ootori-san. Thatās so kind of you~ā
No alpha is ever kind, he reminded himself when the alphaās words started sounding a bit too gentle - a bit too sweet. This was a play... even if the person before him was an annoyingly good actor, that fact didnāt change. It just meant he had to step up his own game.
āWhile I enjoy well balanced meals the most, Iām not picky with my meals. Still, if Iām allowed to choose, Iād be honored to get a taste of Ootori-sanās favorite plates so I can cook them for you in the future. I think my profile must have it down, but Iām quite confident in my cookingā he acted coy, voice sweet, movements small, head always below the alphaās range of sight in a submissive display. A double play on his desirable wife performance- both showing his (fake) willingness to please the alpha and giving him the last decision on the matter.
Heād looked over his soon to be husbandās profile on his way here... knowing how those things go he assumed things like his specialties and even his 3 sizes would be written on it.
lowbloodpressurelordā:
Kyouya stared silently out the window, watching the scenery glide by as the car carried him onward to his planned destination. Outwardly his expression was calm, not giving the slightest hint to his inner turmoil. for as with all well-bred Ootori he had been raised to conceal his emotions behind a mask. Unfortunately, there was nothing to be done for his rigid frame pressed tensely against the upholstery.
Having presented as an alpha, as expected of him, he had far more freedom than many in their dynamic orientated society and had planned to take full advantage of the benefits at his disposal. He had seen no reason to merely sit on the sidelines and let his older brothers hog the spotlight.
Of course alphas had their own societal expectations or, at least, generalisations⦠many of which the youngest Ootori couldnāt be bothered with. A prime example was the claiming of an omega. He had always considered alphas that gave in to their baser urges with whatever omega was available uncivilized beasts but the thought of properly bonding with one he considered a total waste of time.
Kyouya had dreams and ambitions he wished to strive for and he certainly didnāt need a tag-a-long omega to create a hassle in his perfectly ordered life. He had never planned on accepting one, always thinking that his brothers and sister were more than capable of extending the family line without any aid from him. But now⦠but nowā¦
How could they do this to meā¦.
A flash of ire momentarily broke through his calm facade before he quickly masked it once more before his father could catch sight of it. No matter how he despised the situation, he would be a perfect Ootori until the bitter end.
Slowly the car pulled to a stop outside the big lavish restaurant where he would be meeting the omega his family had decided to force on him, the mere thought of it making him inwardly cringe. Taking a calming breath, Kyouya stiffly climbed from the vehicle to follow behind his family.
He hated how little power he had⦠with no power to refuse the alpha patriarch of the Ootori family, he could only comply. It wasnāt even just that he was being unwillingly forced into marriage with an omega but that of all the possible omegas his family could have selected⦠he was a what? A model?
Why couldnāt they have picked someone he would have a use for, like someone with more to offer in the strength or business departmentsā¦. what use did he have for a pretty face? Absolutely nothing.
At last they reached the meeting location, the top floor where it was secluded. Polite as decorum required him to be, he greeted his future mother-in-law before disdainfully turning to regard his future spouse. The meek little mouse couldnāt even bare to look at him and he was so spindly⦠never mind carrying pups would he even be able to take an alpha without snapping in two?
Regarding him for a moment, Kyouya could begrudgingly admit that others would no doubt call the omega a stunning beauty but again⦠what need had he for a pretty-faced omega, or for that matter any omega at all.
Well for me itās no pleasure at allā¦
Trying his best not to sneer at the mouseās greeting and to keep his scent well under control lest it reveal his true feelings, he slightly inclined his head in acknowledgement before giving a greeting his family would deem acceptable.
āKyouya Ootori, the pleasure is all mine.ā
The words that came back were a perfectly polite pre-made answer, all too fitting to his own reluctant greeting. He didnāt bother looking up, but he doubted his expression would be anything other than pure -fake- amiability. The restrain the alpha named Kyouya kept on his own scent -now barely reaching Izumiās nose- a good tell on his insincerity. Or maybe was it simply his lack of interest in the situation at hand?
Before coming here, plenty of possibilities had crossed his mind. Heād found he thought of being immediately touched, approached or leered by his soon to be alpha absolute revolting - the idea of an alpha proudly pulling him along like a pet, nothing short of humiliating.
And yet, he severely underestimated how infuriating absolute indifference could be.
He would have laughed if he could - a spiteful, angry laugh. Was this alpha irritated about being here? Fucker. He had it good! As if Izumi himself everĀ wanted to be here, displayed like an object before a buyer, having to smile and nod and nothing else.
He took one deep breath, making sure not to let his emotions ruin the one thing his mother had hoped of him. At the very least the omega collar tightly closed around his neck kept any scent from leaking.
Maybe feeling the silence, the patriarch of the Ootori family made his move - soon commanding everyone to the table. Bowing lightly in agreement, Izumi moved to the end of the table, standing besides it as he awaited for an alpha to order him where to sit. Omega manners drilled into his mind despite how much he hated it.
His mother, also an omega, did the same. Not many people followed these manners nowadays, but omiai meetings were one of the rare cases where this was expected. He wondered if the Ootori family would also expect this level ofĀ āmannersā for the rest of his life...
Only when he was commanded for one of the sits did he move again, bowing forward ever so gracefully to thank the alpha that spoke to him, moving to sit besides his future husband as it was tradition.
Gently sitting down, he greeted him again. For the first time seeing the black eyes that would judge him for the rest of his life... he hated them. The fact that he might have thought of them as attractive in any other situation all the more irritating.
āOotori-san, if I may?ā he spoke up, offering to serve his drink as it was customary, a fake smile placed on his face as he played his part.
A well set display where neither of the actors were really into it - merely following the motions as to convince the uncaring audience of their words. A logical facade.
he wondered if any omega had gotten away with murdering their husband..

āYouāre gonna use the tissues? Oh. Oh I see, Youāre clearly not thinking about the starving children in Africa, are you? Okay, fine, sure, let all this delicious milkshake go to waste when it would have given a poor baby the strength to go on for yet another day of their hopeless, futile existence.ā
āHah? And what exactly do you want me to do about that? Cut your fingers off and ship them to Africa?ā he huffed, waving the paper tissue in front of the green haired male, as if to let him know that if he kept spouting nonsense heād just give it up and leave.
š ā suck on fingers (for any of your muses haha @tsundere-modelā
āLook~ā Haru stretched across the table, his fingers dripping with thick, heavy milkshake residue.Ā āYouāre being too irritated, Senpai. Is that really how a model should behave? I get that youāre mad I said what I did about Trickstar and Yuki and all, but come now. You made me spill my milkshake. Look at this mess. It could have gotten on my iPad, you know. What are you going to do about? I actually didnāt say anything that wasnāt true, and youāre not going to make me waste a whole lot of money on repairs only because I speak the truth, now are you? Anyway, Iām pretty sure a sunky burger joint isnāt a place where you should be, Model-san.ā
āIt doesnāt look good. And that you chased me here just because I said some things about your little puppy crush⦠I have evidence, you know. The paparazzi would probably eat it all up. So maybe clean up this mess? Seeeen~pai~?ā
Izumi frowned deep, annoyance clear in blue eyes as he was somehow made to be the bad guy by this stupid guy. The joking tone in hiw words nothing short of rubbing salt to the wound. He hated it, oh so much.
āItās your own damn fault for talking about things you donāt know. And itās not even like it broke or anything, I donāt know whatās your issueā he protested, head leaning back and away from him as the sickeningly sweet scent of the milkshake got too close for comfort. A tick on his eyebrow at the rough sounding threat.
āFine, just stop shoving it into my face, itās disgustingā he sighed, picking one of the paper tissues from the side of the table, offering to clean him with thatĀ "Here, Iāll clean your hand since you clearly are too much of a toddler to do it yourself.ā
I wonāt belong to you

An omega is only good for marriage. Thatās what everyone said. Looking pretty, pleasing alphas and give them pups- nothing more, nothing less.
Being raised as an alpha by his parents, the 180Ā they took against him when he finally presented was specially sharp. He was taken out of the special alpha-exclusive classes heād been taken - registered instead into a program for omegas. Lesson of cooking, and knitting, and everything a wife could need...
He hated it. He wanted nothing more than to be free. The dreams heād held from his childhood not easily overturn... heād been told he could do anything, encouraged to try and be a hot-shot at a big company... then why...
Heād just graduated school when the news were dropped on him. His mother, whoād been looking for a good chance to marry him for convenience, had found someone... a high-class family, far above his own in status. His mother cried of happiness, grateful to Izumiās beauty for landing them this chance...
He hated it.
He thought of running away, but the thought of hurting his mother was too much. So he lowered his head and let her do. Dress him up for the first official meeting between him and hisĀ alpha... he was dressed in a thigh long-sleeve shirt and equally tight white pants, black shoes with high heels. Sapphire earrings and a makeup of smoky eyes to highlight his eyes... A beautiful and recently bought omega collar with a blue butterfly painted on, locked around his neck to make his position evident... the neck that would be bitten soon.
The place for the meeting was some big and expensive restaurant in a top floor - a place betas were banned from approaching. A high-class spot, as some would say. Escorted by his mother he walked into the place, small bows to everyone that was introduced to him - his soon to be family. His father-in-law and his brothers-in-low. He tried to smile and be polite, make his mother proud...
Finally getting to the alpha that was to be his husband, he bowed gently forward, looking at the floor as if refusing to look at him. His scent already too much for him to take.
āIt is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, I am Izumi Sena. I shall be in your care in the future.ā he hated the words that came out of his mouth.
clivedoveplblogā:
āIāll take that as a yes,ā rolling his eyes, as ignorant as can be. But that āboredā response of his cut again all too quickly.
āThatās what youāre going with? Boasting? Despicable. You got no idea about the Media either if you think this is even remotely on how we know if someone is good at their job or not. We donāt dance below the stage lights for entertainment; weāre there to actually get shit done. Ah, but someone who only checks where their name is on in a top list would have no clue about it, of course.ā
Something told him he should try to end this conversation quickly, if only for the sake of preventing a (bigger) scene. Needless to say, Clive wasnāt really listening, let alone after that bit. His response was close to one of a snarl.
āYou think I truly bother to argue with the likes of you on paper? No. Articles are meant to remain unbiased, and I stand for it, unlike the gossip lines, but that doesnāt stop me from having a fucking opinionĀ as an individual. Iām disgusted by your conclusions. Iām disgusted by your phoney persona. Your ego beats all skyscrapers, and Iām genuinely sorry for any peer who has to deal with your bullshit.ā
ā ?! BACK OFF, was echoing loudly, but inaudible, in his head, DONāT LOOK DOWN ON ME! It wasnāt said, like hell heād admit that this had an effect on him, but it was there. Despite all that, Clive didnāt move, still glaring when theyāve approached. If one expected this to make him quieter by intimidation, all it really did was grow him more defensive.
āIām not calling you silly, quit twisting my words! Iām saying youāre two-faced and undeserving from the sheer amount of praise that simply feeds your pride! Youāre good, daresay excel at what you do, alright, but youāre not 'goodā as an ordinary citizen. If you think your accomplishments give you bragging rights to look down on others, then you wonāt survive long! Iām calling you an entitled arse, not an amateur!ā
Izumi didnāt even entertain the attempt of insult him, the sudden burst making it more evident in his mind that this ākidā didnāt know what he was talking about.
āYou must be quite bad using that head of yours if you think Iām somehow expecting some kid with not even an ounce of grace to dance around. When I talk credentials I mean 'getting shit doneā as you say - write a proper article. The world isnāt such a nice place they will give you work if you just say āi can do it, believe meā. Isnāt that why someone with no interest in idols was sent to write about us? Because you lack any proper experience? Or did you make someone at your school mad with that big mouth of yours?āĀ if this kid was going to try and talk him down he was going to respond in kind.
āCall it bragging, if that makes you feel any better about yourself, but 'dancing to entertainā is my job. Getting full stadiums and prime time in the tv... magazines being sold out because of an interview of mine and a pretty little poster. Thatās the proof that Iām doing that job properly.Ā That I know my audience, and I understand the job. Thatās more than what I can say about you, starting a conversation with someone you must work with by insulting them~ā he lifted his chin and looked further down at the shorter male, a hand on his hip
āAs you say articles must remain unbiased. They must give proper and complete information to people that wish to read it. I couldnāt care less about what some random kid thinks of me as a person, but if you arenāt able to do a proper job because of such emotions, then yeah I CARE. Because thatās an ANNOYANCE to everyone. To me, for one. To the unit I partake in, the agency I belong to, the school I attend to, and even the school that gave you the chance to write an article about it. So why donāt you use your valuableĀ time to read a thing or two about idols and get to know whatās going on in the industry before you end up writing something you canāt take back, hmn Hato-kun?ā as to add offense to injury he reached forward to pinch the boys cheek, pulling back before he could try to hit him.Ā The nickname the japanese forĀ āDoveā.
āAt least youāre honest enough to admit I excel at my job, good for you~ā he ended up with a smug grin on his lips.
lowbloodpressurelord replied to your post ā[[MOR] Also i still wanna write the one thing about omega izumi...ā

miriokumusesā:
Hardly paying attention to Izumiās tense nature and his comments did Rei lead him down to a room that was dark yes, but still able to see in with the few candle holders lit. The gothic interior was exactly the same as the aesthetic that plauged the entire house. In there was a bed in the middle of a ritualistic circle, Rei would probably replace the bed with a coffin later on, but knew that with Izumi heād reject the fact of sleeping in one.
Guiding him to the male to the bed was it now noticable that there we chains hanging above the bed- like some sort of torture chamber.Ā ā Now, those arnāt just for show, I have to make sure you donāt squirm or try to escape my love ~Ā ā
Izumi gulped down, steeling himself before the sight ahead. The shadows that seemed longer and thicker under the flickering light of the candles - the only half-noticeable circle written on the floor that almost seemed like a pentagram in his eyes. Talk about tacky interior design choices.
āAre you for real?ā he questioned, almost as bothered by the endearing words as he was by the sight of cold harsh metalĀ āStop it with those weird appellations Sakuma, itās giving me the creeps.ā he protested sighing as he presented his hands forward in a submissive gesture, as if offering himself o be chained upĀ ā... letās get through with itā
miriokumusesā:
ā This event isnāt public unfortunately, as much as itād be so nice to have a crowd of relatives watch me continue their line of Sakuma heirs~Ā ā Seemed like Izumi wasnāt thinking twice about it and wanted to get it over with quickly. Which was perfect enough for Rei, since the moon was getting ready to rise none the less, perfecting the time for this all.Ā
With that did he stand up.
ā Very well, letās take you down to the cellar. Iāve already prepared the room for the ritual.Ā ā
Mn? He frowned HARD. The wording Rei used made this whole ritual thing sound really fucking weird and really fucking bad.
āHah? That sounds weirdly voyeuristic. Honestly what even is this ritual?ā he questioned,Ā not really expecting an answer. Heād find out about it soon enough.
Getting on his feet and leaving the cup down, he followed after Rei obediently - leaving some distance. Eventually they got to the room, a disgruntled look at the completely dark room ahead...Ā
miriokumusesā:
Of course, Izumi simply should have been ready for this night, despite never knowing when it was. But he was perfect as always, seeing as the model took quite good care of himself.Ā ā Iāve never done this before, so Iām not sure if itāll be more painful than a simple nip or bite.Ā ā Certianly Izumi must have been use to small bites from Ritsu, but he wondered how this ritualās drinking would hurtā¦considering heād be drinking out some life force from him.
ā Thereās no doubt that itāll leave you light headed. Mama was passed down the heiress title and told me when she did this her victims usually were weak or out cold for a day or so. Though the results in the end are always perfect with the wait.Ā ā
āSo itās not some public event?ā he questioned, crossing his arms over his chest in doubt - well it was probably better and quicker if it was something as small as a bite. A day or two of malaise sounded reasonable for all the unreasonable in it. And yet, the wording made him really curious, specially with the whole emphasis on āresults being perfectā
Well, he probably shouldnāt worry that much about it
āI rea~lly hate how you sayĀ āvictimsāā he mumbled, leaning back even more into the soft chairĀ āBut well, sounds annoying but not terrible. Letās get it over with quickly, yeah?ā
miriokumusesā:
āĀ Ufu, it is tonightās full moon, glad you figured that out so quick ~Ā ā Heād hate for it to simply throw Izumi off and come as a surprise ; he had to be ready after all.
ā Would you care to know more details about it all, my dear Sena-Kun~? Iād hate for you to be so overwhelmed by everything that comes after your blood is harvested.Ā ā
āEh, today? Really?ā he was a bit taken aback by how quick it was. So Rei had called him fully knowing that tonight was the day, huh?
Well, better for him. The quicker they went through this dumb ritual thing the quicker heād be able to get back to his usual work.
āWell, yeah. Iād rather know what I have to do beforehand instead of embarrassing myself failing in front of everyone, Sakumaā of course, he was still expecting this to be some live.
miriokumusesā:
ā Kuku, apparently my parents donāt seem to care in the least, same with your mother, no?Ā ā His smirk grew as Izumi presumed it to be something thatād happen quick, not knowing the consequences of everything that happened.Ā ā Donāt let your chickens hatch before counting them, Sena-Kunā¦.thatās how it goes, no?Ā ā He asked, giving a tilt of the head before sipping at his cup of tea. ā Itās scheduled to be done on the night of a full moon, with the stars perfectly aligned something quite special will happen, ufufu~Ā ā
Izumi merely crooked an eyebrow, not understanding the almost cryptic tone of Reiās words. What did he know about his mother anyway? Just what was he saying it would happen?
ā... a night of full moonā he repeated thoughtfully, bringing his porcelain cup back up to his lips for a sip. Mn?Ā āWasnāt that like... soon?ā
Curiosity picked, he searched for his phone, looking through it curiously. Ah...
ā... today is a full moon... or it like, next monthās full moon?ā after all Rei would know if it was today, right?

Rei let out a chuckle, knowing very well that it wasnāt Izumiās intentions t even participate in this ; that it was most likely forced onto him like any crazed family member thatād toss their child to a cult of vampires. Before with Rei the ritual was to suck the blood for a good harvest - but he was at that age now where he was able to claim his bride.Ā ā That only makes things even more easier. Itās best to never decline the offer of a vampire.Ā ā
ā I chose to claim you, Sena-Kun. Not just as a sacrifice for our harvest, but as my own bride.Ā ā
Izumi flinched, feeling like a mouse in the lair of a snake, red eyes unusually bright in the otherwise completely dark room. The giant chair heād been sitting it suddenly feeling like it could swallow him whole.
ā... my mama said so tooā he replied. He wasnāt sure what that wholeĀ ābrideā thing meant, and it didnāt seemed like his mother new much eitherĀ āIt feels like a role a woman should take... but is it another weird ritual like the Easter one? I really canāt be wasting much time with that kind of things... I have lots of new jobs to deal with it and all. So I wonāt fight it this time, just make it quickā
@tsundere-modelā
ā Thank you for accepting this offer to visit me so late, Sena-Kun~Ā ā As rough as Izumi was going to be with Rei for even inviting him over, most likely seeing it as a waste of his time ; but the elder Sakuma had something he needed to share with Izumi. With that was he quite quaint with things than one would think, the invitation being paired with tea - as much as Rei himself would have just preferred a nice glass of win as the were settled in the dim living room. ā My mother and father recently contacted me about your participation in our little ritual finally ~ Seeming to give quite the feedback Iād like to share.Ā ā
Izumi sighed, feeling anything but comfortable in the dimly lit main hall of the Sakuma estate. The odd decoration and the flickering lights making him feel like heād ventured into some tacky horror movie. To think that not only Ritsu and Rei, but the entirety of the family would be so obsessed with that weird vampire aesthetic...
"... itās not like I could declineā he sighed. He didnātĀ āacceptā coming. Just as he didnātĀ āagreeā to this ritual. His mother being the one pushing him into it since the name of the Sakuma family was such a desirable thing for her. Lifting up the tea cup to his lips he tried to look for Ritsu -the only person kin to an ally he had in this place. But the younger vampire was nowhere to be seen. He was aloneĀ āSo, what is it that you want to talk with me?ā
