Seljalandsfoss, Iceland.
When I was in Seljalandsfoss waterfall in Iceland, it was actually the first time I truly practiced long exposure and “milky” like textures in pictures, with an ND filter on the lens. It took me a couple of shots to get the picture the way I wanted. One time it was to much dark or to much bright, or I simply just didn’t like the way the clouds looked.
With that being said, I have to say that I really enjoyed the process and the learning curve of it. I don’t think that I would have changed much in the picture; maybe just the tiny waterfall at the left side of the picture. Just maybe.
I took this picture with a 10stop ND filter, for about 16 seconds, on a f22 and iso 100. On a tripod of course. (:

Godafoss, Iceland.
What an incredible creation that nature has made. Such a big waterfall, yet so calming.
I was in Iceland September 2022 on an organised trip, that was focused on photography. That day we went to Godafoss, I wasn’t feeling my best and didn’t want to get out of the bus at the beginning. Obviously, at the end I did and was so happy that I made that decision. It was sunny, but not warm. Just perfect. I felt so at peace and took this pictures.
One of the things I wanted to bring to this picture is how I felt. I wanted the water- both the waterfall and b the actual water underneath to look smooth and “quiet”, so I took the picture with a shutter remote on bulb mode for 20 seconds and got this results. Exactly as I wanted. After that I decided to take a closeup of the waterfall (thought it was kinda unique tbh) on my 18mm - 135mm lens, probably around like 92mm for the best look in my opinion from where I was standing.
Loved both of the pics, but the closeup one was definitely my favourite. It feels so dreamy.
Hope you like it. 😊
