As humans, one of our greatest weakness is the inability to let go. We forget that people are allowed to not love you anymore, that they can move on from you, that they can remove you from their lives. People are allowed to be happy without you. People are allowed to not need you. We forget these things because it hurts our ears to hear, But I think our greatest strength, is the day when we accept it.

Men They just don’t get it Now do they? You tell them about the stares and the silencing how you’re trained to swallow your voice and they say, Well I Didn’t Do Anything Men Always trying to declare themselves drowning when they make up the sea You tell them how everything you care about is a boy’s only club how you are allowed in with a special pass but still not served the same drinks And they say, You May Have Seen Me In There But I’m Not Like Them Ah Men They just don’t get it huh
