i've reached that point where my younger coworkers assume i have absolutely no idea what's happening in pop culture, which... fair enough. somehow love island came up today, and after they tried explaining it to me, i think i ended up with more questions than answers. i need an honest opinion from somebody who actually knows what they're talking about. is it worth the rabbit hole? @olandriaaa
i've gotta ask, has everybody started treating you like you've never been through this before? i've got my three boys, and i swear every single time i became a dad again somebody suddenly had a brand new piece of advice they couldn't wait to hand out. you'd think by the second or third kid people would assume you've got it handled, but apparently that's never how it works. @margoteliise
i think one of my favorite things about this business is realizing how many people you've somehow managed to orbit for years without ever actually crossing paths. you'll know someone's work, hear nothing but good things about them from other people, and still never end up on the same set. hollywood's a weirdly small place like that. figured i'd finally stop letting us be two of those people and say hello. @rhseehorn
i was thinking the other day about how every actor has that one role people bring up no matter what they've done since. it doesn't matter how many years go by or how many projects you take on, someone's always going to mention that character. i've started wondering if that's something you eventually make peace with or if it just keeps catching you off guard. @paulcolm

shawn: alright, i need you to solve something for me shawn: do you actually watch your own work once it's out? shawn: or do you just let it be? there isn't a wrong answer by the way. @sebastianseb
there are so many times it randomly hits me just how long i've been doing this. what almost gave me a heart attack, though, was that trend of people getting celebrities to sign old photos of themselves. i fell victim to it and genuinely had to do a double take for a second. the weird part is people keep telling me i look more like my nineties self now than i have in years. i'm still trying to figure out whether that's supposed to be a compliment. @joshjaxfame
