So I had an art account called TheSharkiestSharker but then I got hacked :p thankfully there’s not important data on that account and it got deleted

So just wanted to let everyone know if you get a message like this

It’s a scam

The discord account asked me to change my acc email to a different one (I don’t have the screenshots and can’t get new ones cause I reported and blacked the guy or he deleted his messages)

That’s the account that scammed me

The email I got back from tumblr to confirm it’s a scam

I do not in anyway blame tumblr for what happened it was my fault, I probably should have known or realized something was up before I gave up my account, I only realized it was Sus when they asked me to send money

Lmao notice how he didn’t even deny it

Moreover if you get a notification like this

I’m not sure if it’s a scam but I would say be extremely careful and cautious because form my experience the verification involves sharing credit card information but it looks official by tumblr so idk (but also even when I didn’t comply within the 24 hours my account doesn’t get deleted or suspended so idk)

Also the reason I didn’t ask tumblr to like help me get my old account back was because I didn’t want to share my ip address

Once again not blaming tumblr at all for this just making this post so people don’t get scammed like me

And if u followed my art account and liked it m probably not gonna post on tumblr for a while just to like process ts but I probably will start posting art again sometime
