💙 A Better ABK 💙
An overarching goal of this event is to continue to raise awareness for the efforts of A Better ABK and its related organizations that have formed since July 2021. As you enjoy the festivities, remember well that none of it would be possible without the hard work of dozens of WoW developers who deserve fair treatment, fair wages, and proper recognition.
If you have the money to spare, please consider donating to the fund on their Twitter page to support the workers who are so dedicated to seeking meaningful and needed changes within Blizzard Entertainment and the gaming industry as a whole.

The Lunar Festival is a time of celebration, hosted by the Cenarion Circle. It has been a time of remembrance for the valor and wisdom of that ancient age.
Moonglade is the most notable area of celebration, there festivities have been arranged to delight citizens and invigorate adventurers. Lahassa, “A harvest festival celebrating togetherness and to give thanks to loved ones, your community, and the Goddess. The Kaldorei acknowledge this month as the month they were born from the stars.”
This event welcomes all races of Azeroth to attend in a neutral and harmonious setting. It is highly recommended that you bring several Elixir of Tongues, though the hosts (Alliance) will have extras to hand out as well.
Event Schedule:

Starting at the Shrine of Remulos the party begins with offerings to the wilds, Kelanthos Ivyfang will lead a procession towards the Great Bear Spirit for their blessing before the ceremonies later in the evening.
5:30 PM - Land and Sea Costume Contest
Inspired by the unity of the bear brothers, we invite friends to pair up for a transmogrification contest together! Contesting teams don costumes to suit the theme of the event.
This year’s theme is Land vs Sea. Each duo is meant to show the contrast and unity in the themes of the land and the sea. Participants will be judged in pairs on how well their respective members represent both the Land and Sea and in how their costumes both compliment one another.
6:15 PM - Drinking Contest
Inspired by The Wild God Ursoc’s love of brew, we will have a drinking contest where participants will try their best to drink as many cups of blessed brew without spilling in each round! The final winner of the contest wins a prize!
7:00 PM - Brother Brawl - Tug o’ War.
Inspired by the raw fighting spirit and competition between the Twin Gods Ursoc and Ursol, we will be holding a Tug O’ War contest on the White Bridge in Nighthaven! Pick your favorite brother’s side and prepare to show off your strength by pulling your opposition across the threshold!
7:45 PM - Closing Ceremony, Feast and Fireworks.
Once the Tug O’ War is complete we will be finishing the evening on the docks of Nighthaven with a small fireworks display, casual roleplay, and of course, a big feast to celebrate the bounty of the Kaldorei people and their friends, family, and loved ones in the Alliance!
(Contact @the-silver-circle or a member in game for more information)
Illuridei - The Watcher’s Flame (2019)
As the war between the Horde and Alliance began settling to a lukewarm state, the Silver Circle took the opportunity to return to their homelands for this year’s celebration of Illuridei, the ceremonial passing of seasons from summer unto fall.
Beginning in the heart of Ashenvale, the participants walked the long traditional procession from the outskirts of Astranaar to the autumnal lands of Azshara, making camp at Talrendis Point. There, the leading priestesses cast their blessings upon those who needed them most, bread was broken among new friends, and delicious dumplings were shared. When the night began to calm and the stars twinkled brightly above, folk gathered round the campfire to share stories from aged and modern times alike, in honoring and thanks for all that has come to pass… and all that will yet be.

A Day in Darkmoon [August 2019]
Ahead of You, Down the Path A Majestic, Magical Faire! Ignore the Darkened, Eerie Woods Ignore the Eyes That Blink and Stare Fun & Games & Wondrous Sights! Music & Fireworks to Light Up the Night! Do Not Stop! You’re Nearly There! Behold, My Friend: THE DARKMOON FAIRE!
After weeks of exploring the wilds of Pandaria, members of the Silver Circle decided to kick their feet up and relax for a weekend in the Kingdom of Stormwind. As summer turns to autumn, festivals about, and none are more popular in the Kingdom than the Darkmoon Faire.
The Silversworn explored the Darkmoon Island & Faire for an enjoyable night of low-tech amusements and mediocre food. Within the festival grounds they experienced several main thoroughfares and attractions, from stall games to concerts.
Compared to other festivals, the Darkmoon Faire is laid-back and family oriented with something for everyone. Most notably, it had a unique balance of people, food vendors, and entertainment.
A big thanks to everyone who bumped into us for some walk-up roleplay! It was loads of fun!
Anniversary Council Glade [June 2019]
June 16th marked our two-year anniversary since we started the Silver Circle on Wyrmrest Accord. Since June 2017, we’ve created so many interesting stories together and we are excited and eager to continue sharing new ideas and concepts with everyone as we progress into our third year.
Bonus OOC Shenanigans:
The Memorial of Flames [August 3rd, 2019]
The folk began to gather at dusk.
They whisked through the sparse forests, careful to avoid suspicion, as they congregated near that war-torn edge of the world. Once the time came, they snuck away into the brush, circling a humble cemetery bristling with ancient energy and a longing to be remembered.
One by one, those brave enough stood up - their strong words stirred the spirits of the fallen and hearts of the living alike, urging caution yet hope, risk and latent love. As the hidden wisps began settling around them, the folk retrieved their offerings, made of stone, wheat, wood and precious things. They placed them around the burial site, gently coaxing the wraiths into the waking world, however briefly.
In unison, the gathered folk began a solemn ritual. Sacred stones were passed to all, and held close to the very depths of each one’s soul; together they would plead to Mother Moon and the wisps that graced them, beseeching an unassuming blessing. As She heard their cries, the two ancient forces melded, and brought forth a great imbued light, safely tucked away within the stones’ crevices.
And so those folk would make their way quietly to the Mist’s Edge, a shore wrought with war and broken bones, hearts, homes. Empowered by the message of peace and love, they raised their moonstones to the sky before casting them away, into the deep reaches of the bay. The grace of Elune and the ancient spirits manifested before them, into a brilliant array of silver-white rays, embracing the crumbling husk of a former World Tree. A plain message to all in such dark, dark times, but especially those borne of hatred:
You cannot kill hope.
What can I say except… W O W!!!
I am so incredibly humbled by the number of people that came to our memorial!! Each and every one of you are so special and helped to make this one of my most favorite events that I’ve ever done. Your kind words have touched my heart, and I’m more excited than ever about continuing to craft great IC gatherings for all denizens of Azeroth (and beyond!).
My deepest thanks goes to my fellow hosts Gotosh, Za’tiya, Elliistra, and Feyawen, whom each brought so much life to the activities that truly made the event what it was. It wouldn’t have been anywhere near as good without their help!
And, of course, thank you to all of those who made presentations during the Circle of Remembrance activity. Your characters’ stories moved me greatly, as I hope they moved many others. We encourage everyone to post their presentations on the memorial’s forum thread if you wish, especially if we didn’t get the chance to hear you out during the memorial proper! All of you who’ve posted yours so far are amazing, and I’m very grateful for you sharing your character’s unique perspective and experiences with us.
Elune-adore! For Azeroth!
Memorial of Flames: Spiritual Offerings & Embrace of the Fallen
Under the waxing moon, the folk acknowledged the spirits of the land and stood awhile in silence, sensing, perhaps, this night to be a turning point, not just for themselves, but for the lands and all who dwelt here. One way hatred, blood, and sacrifice: the other struggle, healing, hope.
Memorial of Flames: Circle of Remembrance
“Elune shines upon us all, and we will stand, and we will survive. Remember this, even on the darkest nights. For that is only the beginning of a New Moon.”
- Ames Stillword
