I’ve begun a Crimson Peak inspired Sims save. It was a pain to get it as historically accurate as possible (replacers for phones, cars, hunting down a Victorian era custom town to import them into, customizing a premade Allerdale Hall to my liking, ect) but I’m finally satisfied with it!

He would imagine a world that wouldn’t scorn them for their love. So deeply, sometimes, that when he and his sister would go in town to the market together, arm in arm, he would forget that they didn’t live in that world now. It was always a little shock, and a slow, miserable sink of his heart when he would lean in and kiss Lucille for just a little too long only to be met with her wide eyes and grimacing teeth. Not here, Thomas.

Fair play. They’re only a stones throw away from the estate. But then, there they were- In Greece again, reliving Thomas’ honeymoon with a now-dead wife. Thomas thought of Lucille every second he was there the first time— now, he was eager to do it right. To treat Lucille like the bride she was in his heart. But his sister was tense still.
