Stop! What am I?

“I was too blind to see that you were too deaf to hear me”

In Afrikaans, these phrases are known as the "intensiewe form". Directly translated these phrases mean "cucumber cool", "poodle naked", "chirp small" and "stick alone". In Afrikaans they simply imply an extreme version of the word so "very cool", "stark naked" "teeny tiny" and "totally alone".

I drew this while waiting at the train station during my recent trip to India.

Daddy likes to disco, baby likes to boogie and gogo likes to groove! 

I made these boxes for a bride-to-be. The letters spelt out the groom's name "AZHAR". Each letter opened at the back, and served as a box for all the gifts that she gave to him at their engagement party. 

You can never have too many flamingos!
